Very beautiful and upscale area, but not within walking distance from main night attractions in Lima. If you stay in Miraflores it is more central, but nothing than Uber can't solve. Less than 10 soles rides for most locations

This is more upscale residential area of Lima, with nice housing and shopping mall. My preference is Miraflores, more open parks and ocean views. This is a safe area for restaurants and shopping.

This is the most affluent suburb of Lima. Lots of people with money here, beautiful houses, apartments. Best spot is by the Golf.

Mainly a residential neighborhood but it houses the Museo Oro which is a fantastic museum. A private collection of one individual.

This area was one I discounted when searching for a hotel. I think however that I'd have preferred to be based in this area rather than Miraflores. A lovely district less hustle and bustle.

Once mainly a swank residential area of Lima, San Isidro is now one of the two most happening neighborhoods of greater Lima. Some of Lima's best restaurants are here plus great shopping from a huge shopping mall to hundreds of small boutique places where almost everything can be found. It's only rival is Mireflores....

This is a great neighborhood to stay and or visit. It is very safe and you will see police and municipal security everywhere. Many of the Embassy´s are located here, as is the private residence of Perú's new president (PPK). There are parks, restaurants and lots of shopping.
