I was expecting a really touristic place, it is defitly not! The place is wonderful and the paintings on the houses are very different. I loved the bus journey to Antioquia: amazing view of the mountains and nice small villages to stop by!

I was expecting more from Antioquia, but if you happen to already be exploring Cieneguilla it may be worth a couple of hours to check it out. The town is tiny…I would say about 30-40 buildings are hand painted in quaint designs…so a few good...More

We visited Antioquia in June of 2013 and it made for a wonderful little day trip out of Lima. It took us a good two hours to get there from the Pachacamac area but the roads were decent. The town was very well kept, clean...More
