The Plazuela and the neighborhood neighborhood are well worth the time it takes to venture there. Lots to see, do and eat/drink as you walk around the central district or to the ocean. Truly a glimpse into a Bygone Era!

Perhaps most important is the statue to one of Peru's most famous criollo singer Chabuca Granda. The rest of the small park and plaza is relaxing. On one side is the bridge on the other a church under restoration.

This is a very nice park that is on many levels, not good for wheelchairs or strollers. The decaying church is the main tall feature, lots of lawn area and the Lovers bridge where you are suppose to hold your breath while walking over. Statue of Gauacho. Go with a guide as there are so many stories from this small area. Great shopping, restaurants near by.

Pleasant area to walk around. Tried a hot chocolate with cinnamon from a street seller which was delicious. Huge amount of vultures in the area especially on the roof of the church.

This space in the vicinity of the old church of the Barranco - La Ermita, gives you a pleasant rest of the vendors over the bridge of sighs. You can just sit behind the statue for a while observing people walking around exploring Barranco, do not forget to dive to the left of the church and go up to a square at the end of the block.

We decided to walk from Miraflores to Barranco. Thank you Google maps for showing us the way. So we actually stumbled into this cutie pie of a park with two or three peddlers selling local yummies whose names I forgot to note. It's pretty and it overlooks the Bridge of Sighs (Puente Suspiro). Standing and looking just a bit to the left of the bridge you will notice a tree occupied by condors. They will fly around and give a display of their speed and wings. Not exactly a pretty bird. There is a small church and a bunch of restaurants on the other side. Very picturesque!
