The animals are pretty cool. It only takes a couple of hours to see the whole thing and take a swim.

Spent a couple hours here taking pictures of various wildlife species, then taking a swim at their lake beach. Overall, well worth the time and effort. If you don't like the concept of a zoo, I don't recommend coming. Numerous wildlife species especially birds and cats.

Only found out about this place on my last day in iquitos, otherwise I would have spent a few days here. Huge zoo with every type of animal you could think of. Some of the enclosures could be bigger and nicer but for Peru this was pretty good. Best part about this place though is the massive jungle lagoon! It's... More

I believed that is too cruel for an animal to be trapped in a cage but to be in a shoe box !!!that doesn't have name ...+ the lagoon is totally disappointed is dirty people should give it a good care and cleanliness to the lagoon and park.

The area is good but needs more care for the animals. It sad to see that some of them are sick. The government should improve this place.

We spent about a 1/2 day at Quistococha and enjoyed it, we probably spend the first few hours checking out the animals and then went down to the lagoon where we relaxed, had lunch and a few beers. We ate at La Sirenita which was to the left if looking at the lagoon and thought the food was good, fresh... More

It is supposed to be a place where you can "connect" with the animals and be aware of some possibilities to take care of them, what to do to protect them, etc. It was a dirty and desolated place. Bad food and dirty bathrooms 

If you want to see the local fauna this is the right place, although not fond of zoos or having animals in cages, they all look well nurtured and taken care of.
