A touristic place

The bar and the nightclub is nice but is a very touristic place, a little expensive. They have dance lessons before the nightclub starts, that is nice.

We really enjoyed our time there! We got free Salsa and Batchata classes with a professional dancer. It was my birthday so everyone was so nice to us, dancing with me and my friends and inviting us drinks. If you want to feel Cuzco nightlife, I suggest you pass by Mama Africa and enjoy yourself!

We visited Mama Africa due to it's location to all of the other bars in the plaza and we wanted to participate in the salsa lessons every night. We came, we drank, we danced and danced. The instructor and DJ were great and there were people of all skills dancing. When you get tired of salsa you can walk to... More

The club is nice, but you have to be careful with your money when you order a drink. More than once, with me and with friends, the change was completly given to tips/propina, without asking me. I gave 30 for a drink of 12 soles, and they've put all the change for tips. Twice they "just forget" to gibe the... More

Everyone has a different expectation when they go out, so I'll let you know what mine was the night I visited: I was looking for a place to hear new latin dance music and hopefully dance salsa and merengue with locals. This place had come up since it has salsa lessons from 9-11. Since I went to a lesson at... More

We went here twice during our stay in Cusco, and both nights started off so well! The music is nice, the cocktails are big, strong and cheap, there's a free wardrobe and the most amazing thing; You can get painted in your face for free!! We had so much fun the first time, and also the second, until; I went... More

The food was pretty good here for being a bar first and foremost. I got the chicken skewers and asked for them crispy, but they came regularly prepared (not surprising in Peru). It was good. My friend ordered a cocktail which was really strong, but he seemed to enjoy it. The waitress was nice and spoke some english. It seems... More

We came here for a fun night dancing with some people we had met at Machu Picchu. It was a blast! Happy to see how strict security was considering we saw locals beating each other up right outside... The music was fun and the played a good variety to keep everyone happy which was nice. It was hot in there... More

I went for salsa and bachata classes two nights in a row! What an enthusiastic bunch of instructors! The night life thereafter was also fantastic! I danced till it hurt...and then some. It was a lot of fun! I took off one point for how expensive drinks were and the indoor smoking.
