This museum has an amazing collection of the religious art. But the best part of the visit is the building that permits to see a great colonial house from that time. Highly recommend it. make sure you buy a so called a Religious Ticket that includes: The cathedral, San Blas, and the Museum. The ticket is valide for 30 days.

Ok most of the art is Religious but it is very interesting and at a ticket price of 30 Soles this ticket also covers the main cathedral, the San Blas Church and the San Cristobal Church. Yes you get at no extra charge the electronic guide and that gives you all the explanations and it is well worth it. I... More

My friend and I popped into the Museum of Religious Art, and we did not stay very long. I think I may be spoiled by the museums in NYC and DC, and I do not want to be too critical, but I do not think it is a must see museum.

The art is nice, but there are no plaques/descriptions of it at all. This makes the attraction much less attractive, and the museum is quite small to begin with. It costs 5 soles for students about 10 for others. The courtyard in the center is nice, but many other museums have much more to offer for a better price. Unless... More

I am not crazy about religious art and only visited this museum because half the group (the same half that drank chardonnay and margaritas) had deserted our indigenous guide and I felt for him. Loved the building....

Disappointing. Poor lighting, or none, in a couple of the rooms. There was no narrative written to accompany any of the paintings, and no pamphlets to guide us. Quite a few of the works appeared to need restoration. The only must-see for me was the small collection of crucifixes.

This museum cost about 15 Sol per person I believe and had a nice collection of religious art that was lovely displayed. There was a nice garden to take a break and there was no one else there. It was a great respite from the heat and crowds and a lovely walk around. Very pretty and lovely time.

If you are near the Plaza de Armas and have about 45 minutes to spare, take the block or two walk to the Museum of Religious Art. Free audio units are provided. The art that you will see reflects a fascinating blend of Christian and Inca imagery. This blending connected the Inca to the new faith. The audio explains this... More

We were the only visitors. Included with religious buildings ticket. Needs variety. The visit lasted about 15-20 min, on the way to yet another church.
