So cool and fun. This train was beautiful and absolutely felt timeless with all the fun stuff. They serve you drinks and snacks. The view from the glass windows and roof are beyond.

We took the Peru Rail Vistadome train from Cusco to Machu Picchu and were very pleased with the experience. The train was clean, including a nice restroom. Air conditioning worked well. Train left and arrived on time with well organized boarding. Nice waiting area at...More

Too expensive for Peru. $152.00 dollars one hour and a 40 mts, round trip. I hear it can get more expensive when buying only one round trip. I hope Peru is benefiting from those profits, that country looks so terribly bad in most places, it...More

Although prices are not low (similar to low-cost flights), we were surprised to be served a complimentary beverage with something to eat (cake in the morning -on the trip from Ollantaytambo to Machu Picchu-and fruit, corn chips, and a piece of pizza in the evening,...More

The Vistadome is definitely the way to go to Aguas Calientes for Machu Pichu Picchu visit. Extremely easy to book on line. The rail trips were comfortable and fun, and the on board staff was wonderful. Highly recommend.

Mind boggling scenery. A complimentary drink (non alcohol), a snack; and entertainment with a fashion show of Peruvian goods. Staff so friendly.

I was on a tour in Sept. 2016. We sat at a table for 4 and our tour guide sat across from us. He did point out some of the interesting sights we passed. Our trip to Aguas Caliente was pleasant and easy. The next...More

They usually give you a carriage number and a choice of several seats. The left hand side was best when we went up as it was along side the river and offered great views. Right hand side best on return but it does depend if... More
