This was one of our favorite Inkan Ruins in Peru! There is so much to see and we didn’t even do half of it due to time constraints – wish we could have stayed longer to hike up to the ruins higher up in the hills! However, we still managed to see plenty! The site is very well maintained and... More

The most authentic place to eat the Peruvian delicacy of Guinea pig. There a many places to choose from and they are located on the main road before you make the turn up to Tipon. Don't drink beer while you eat it as it will make you sick and make sure to have a shot of liquor after you are... More

It's amazing on a sunny day. It's possible to make picnic with an incredible view. Speacilly locals go to the place.

While staying in Cuzco, we hired a taxi to take us to the ruins in the South Valley. We were glad to have taken the taxi vs a tour because it allowed us to take the time where we wanted. We did spend a few hours walking the Tipon area. The sophistication of the aqueduct system they built there was... More

Nice archeological site right outside of Cusco. Worth the drive. Another demonstration of the advance techniques on the Inca civilization. Took local bus - collectivo- for 1.5 soles (instead of 50 soles for a taxi).

Located high in the mountain tops of the valley, ruins are the most impressive, architecurally in the Sacred Valley heavily water based.

The grounds are amazing and the structures are out of this world. Very nice view points to see the site, you will not be disappointed.

Very pleasant walk after hiking Machu Picchu for 2 days. The grounds are well kept and so green. This excursion was optional to our tour.
