Quechuas Expeditions(Large, Small and private Groups Specialists)The Best Local Tour Operator Sustainable tourism consists on providing direct and/or indirect benefits to the communities that are visited. Whenever it is possible, this is done through sustainable activities that protect the environment and the participation in social projects that help local communities and protected areas, always providing a high quality service.Being ecologically responsible on a trip doesn’t mean sacrificing the quality of the stay nor the travel plans. It basically consists on planning the visit in a more conscientious way.We firmly believe the communities visited must get a direct benefit, whenever possible, through the sustainable trips, environment protection, and social projects.

I found Quechua Expeditions through Fodor's Travel Guide and it was listed as a reasonably priced company that was good for groups. To start off, their website was easy to navigate and I got the relevant information without having to look too deep. I was quite certain I wanted to do the 4-Day Inca Trail and immediately found the required... More

I found Quechuas Expeditions through a review like this and I really hope to get the word out so others might have a great experience like us. First off, our deposit was super straight forward and easy. We received instant confirmation when it was received. The experience only got better from there. The company was extremely organized and the staff... More

We walked the Inca trail with Quechuas Expeditions, a small group of 5, (3 adults and two kids) plus 7 staff members. We had the best experience!!Our guide Reynaldo was fantastic! He was so knowledgeable, patient, kind and positive, our chefs Atillio and Nicolas cooked the best food for us! All the other staff members were great! Helpful and professional.... More

I used Quechua expeditions for my 4 day inca trail. Booking went smoothly and they were quick to answer any questions that I had before I came. I had Renaldo as my guide who was amazing! He was very knowledgeable about every thing from the Inca ruins to plants and anything else you ask him. He was very encouraging throughout... More

My friend and I did the 4D/3N Inca trail tour with Quechuas. We chose them as a local company and they were very accommodating and happy to leave on our preferred date as long as there was just the two of us. They were easy to contact via whatsapp and so we got smooth free transit to the hotel which... More

A friend and I did the 4D/3N Inca Trail tour with Quechuas Expeditions. We were in a group of four tourists with two cooks and four porters. Our tour guide, Reynaldo, took such good care of us. A member of our group got injured, and he stuck with her throughout the tour to make sure that she was ok. He... More

I organized a classic Inca trail trek 4d/3n through Quechuas for Sept. 2016 for me and six other friends. I spent hours gathering information on more than a dozen different operators out of Cusco six months beforehand, and Quechuas stuck out in its value, personality and customer experience. Upon traveling to Peru, I had high expectations considering I was the... More

I was going to write a bunch of words, but it feels like a waste of time. The porter team, the chef and our tour guide Wily - all just amazing. The prep meeting before the trip and the way they took care of us. I am eternally grateful for such an amazing experience. Don't go with anyone else if... More

I was on the Wild Women Expeditions(WWE) hiking excursion to Peru to see Machu Picchu. A four day trek in the Andean mountains, camping under the stars and between high peaks, walking beside llamas and alpacas, going through the mist of rain forests and wild orchids, seeing local women weavers and much more that had gave me a profound experience... My friend and I scheduled the 5-day Salkantay Trek without pre-planning, literally from today for tomorrow. Quechuas Expeditions were able to put together a trek starting the next day and since we were the only customers that day we got to have the guide, Renzo, all to ourselves. I highly recommend the trek and especially the guide Renzo Valencia. The... More
