Amazing 16th and 17 th century town. Many inca ruins right in town. Good walking town. No car or taxi needed. Excellently climate. Warm days cool nights. We are here in rainy season but most of the rain is at night. The altitude is a challenge and we feel the steps when we walk uphill. Vista point at church only... More

The place is amazing, but is pretty much what you can see in every Latin country, the difference is that the churches are built on the place where before was an Inca building. Today you can see the inca foundations in every touristic building you will visit.

It had ceremonies on Sundays, very lively, you can talk to locals, and people from other parts of the world, every body was friendly

Small walkable town. Lots of small shops that sell the same staff. Better to hire a guide for the experience

The trip was organized well, well documented, and completed by the visit in minibus of Saqsaywaman, which is inseparable of Cusco, but on the periphery of the town.

This is beautiful, fascinating and historically rich city that has tons to offer for casual tourists and adventure travelers alike. We wish we had booked more time for our visit - we loved it.

The main square is large and quite nicely surrounded by nice buildings and churches. Unfortunately, tourists are constantly set upon by all manners of vendors ranging from 5 year old kids selling trinkets, to "artists" selling watercolor paintings from a portfolio, to everything else. It's fine but does get a little annoying at times. Very little English is spoken in... More

Take it easy walking round on the first day, it takes a while to acclimatise! But the temptation to see the old place is hard to resist. The square is very impressive, surrounded as it is with countless shops and travel companies plying their trade.

We took a tour of the center of town through Condor. The city centr was beautiful, and the history rich. It is a must see as part of a Macchu Picchu trip.
