i did the combo 2D/1N Macchu Pichu Sacred Valley tour with SAS at the end of March and unfortunately I can't recommend their service based on my experience. While the tours given by the different guides on each day were quite good, I was not collected from the train at either Aguas Calientes or back in Ollantaytambo. Given that my... More

Highly recommend the Lares Valley Trek/Machu Picchu with SAS Travel. We made our home base in Cusco at the historic Hotel Marqueses, which was incredibly beautiful, great staff, and very accommodating to trekkers. Our lead guide, Hilbert Sumire made this trip immeasurably better by sharing his vast knowledge and passion for the land, people, history and culture of his upbringing,... More

Every aspect of our 4 day Inca Trail SAS trip was above expectations! We felt that our guide, Jose Ttito and assistant guide Oliver went above and beyond and that the cooks, porters and all involved were some of the most hard working, committed people I have ever come across. Kudos!

Completed the Salkantay trek, with the hike up to Machu Picchu Mountain guided by Marco Fernandez of SAS travel. The trip was a blast. About 50 miles in total according to fitbit, and as high as 4,600 km... you want to be in decent shape and have a guide that knows what they are doing. Marco was an absolute all... More

We splurged for the full day VistaDome train tour from Cusco to Machu Picchu for 5 people at a cost of over US $2000. When we checked in at the SAS office upon our arrival in Cusco, it became immediately clear that they were going to do everything they could to give us less than what we had purchased. First... Highly recommend doing the Lares Trek with SAS Travel. Two days hiking starting from the Sacred Valley up into the mountains, summiting a just short of 15K peak, then into the Lares Valley with hella alpine lakes. Then on the 3rd day you hike the last leg of the Inca trail finishing in Machu Picchu with nobody there (we were... More

My wife and I traveled to Peru in May of 2017. Initial booking SAS Travel was easy, I received quick responses to all my questions via email. Our package with SAS Travel included walking tour of Cusco, bus tour of Sacred Valley, and Inca Trail hike ending in Mach Picchu, with a night at Aguas Calientes. From day one SAS... More

Did the classic Inka Trail (4 days/3 nights) with SAS Travel in March 2017 - one of the best experiences ever! SAS made the whole booking process pretty easy (despite my friend and I only booked 3 months in advance), and everything was taken care of. Our guides Isaac & Hans were super nice, knowledgeable & supportive, but they also... More

We booked our 10 day multi adventure with SAS Tours a whole year in advance! Lilliana was very helpful with all the changes we made during the year before visiting in April 2017! With this tour package, all daily activities, accommodation and the 4D/3N Inca trail was organised for us! We did everything! - Cusco city tour with Fleur, Sacred... More
