For tours of Machu Picchu and the Inca ruins the sites are the same, but every guide is unique. Trekperu's itinerary, hotels, and restaurants were all at least good and sometimes great, but what most made our trip memorable was our guide Miguel, whose passion for and knowledge of Inca history and culture, rooted in pride in his own ancestry,... This was an amazing trip. The Trek Peru team was awesome and served us so well. They accommodated to our dietary needs. They were amazing at providing what we needed, to the point that we felt spoiled. Our guide Eduardo was great, the rest of our team was incredible too and we felt like a family by the time we... Our 4-day, 3-night Inca Trail "glamping" tour to Machu Picchu was an amazing trip for our family of four, which included our two teenage daughters. Our tour-guide, Romulo was incredible. He is so passionate and knowledgeable about the history and culture of his country, we felt very well informed all along the Inca Trail trek to Machu Picchu and during... More

I had Miguel for portions of two days and he truly went above and beyond to make my time special in Cusco, including waking up extra early to take me to the markets for local-style breakfast. He was a truly great ambassador for Cusco. Doris was great as well and really made my trip a breeze, planning every detail so... More

We had Miguel as our guide and John/Elias/Javier as our driver for our 5D/4N Cusco/Machu Picchu tour from TrekPeru. Overall, my family enjoyed the tour and TrekPeru team provided exceptional service! Miguel was able to adjust our schedule because our arrival at Cusco was delayed by almost 2 hours. He did not rush us with our tour. He wanted us... More

I hired this company due to the Salkantay Pass option that could be added to Inca Trail. After a few months of emails communications, I was pressed to pay deposit in February to secure the September permits on Inca Trails, which I did. Only to find out in June that they had not purchased the tickets and the tickets were... More

My son and I went with Trekperu on a multi-day trek through the Andes, culminating with 2 days at MP. Trekperu was fantastic and the Andes were stunning. Ruins, remote trails, native folks, great food, knowledgeable guide, everything. Reaching MP was definitely a tick on the bucket list, but after the incredible journey through the sparsely traveled mountains, it was... More

We did a 4 day (3 nights) hike with Miguel of TrekPeur and loved it! The Andes are just breathtaking and of course Machu Picchu is just magical. But having Miguel as our guide and Landro are our resident chef, made the trek even more enjoyable and interesting. Miguel is super organized, thoughtful, extremely knowledgeable and above all a great... More

Our experience with Trekperu was wonderful!! We had a recommendation from a family member who had used them for their trip to Peru. We were not disappointed. We contacted Trekperu only three weeks before our trip. Doris is a scheduling master! She worked diligently and had everything planned out for us when we arrived. We were able to see and... More
