Be wary, not the big museum regarding the Qoricancha site! This is only a very small museum with some interesting skulls but very little else. Do not buy the 70 soles bolleto turistico just to get in here, this place is worth about 5 soles. Information is mainly in Spanish with some very poorly translated English here and there.

This was on our tourist 'boleto' so we went in and I was not impressed. Displays in this tiny museum were poorly crafted and in bad shape, sequencing was unclear and the facilities themselves didn't look (or even always smell) very good). Also, the text is not accessible to non-Spanish speakers. Either very bad English translation or only Spanish. The... More

I have to say we only went in because it was part of the tourist ticket and I'm glad we didn't pay extra for it. Its a very tiny museum of 5 small rooms with few artefacts. However I did find the last room particularity interesting about how they deformed the skulls of the nobility to show that they were... More

Though small, they've packed a lot of information in to this museum. Located underneath Qorikancha, the access is on Av El Sol. If you can only visit one museum, see this one.

If you just want to visit this place, it's expensive (130 solis), and definitely not worth it. Museum is small and lacklustre, little in English and the gardens are well maintained but little to see. Far better to visit the Convent next door for 15 solis, with views of the garden and much, much more to see and do.

This site is amazing and interesting. Very significant in INCA history. I recommend a guide. This was the most important ceremonial structure during the INCA era. A must see if you love the history

I would not recommend this at all. You get everything and more from the Regional Museum in town. The information is basically the same just less detailed. They don't keep it up very well. Many of the displays were broken or not cleaned. They have very few artifacts. The written up explanations look alot like middle school science fair projects.... More

The small number of artifacts that have been excavated from the Qoricancha a displayed here, usually only with Spanish labels. In general, this museum also provides a brief introduction to Peruvian prehistory, and has a nice display of mummies, in particular. Included in the Touristico Boleto for Cusco and the Sacred Valley, the entrance stairs lead down from the park... More

This small museum in a basement on the grounds adjacent to Qorikancha is OK but compared to other museums it's not special. It is part of the Boleto Turistico de Cusco so if you have spare time and have bought the ticket call in and see it.

This museum's entrance fee is covered by tourist ticket. However, the exhibition is very small. A lot to see though.
