The museum has some interesting pieces to offer, but it could use some more love, especially at the information boards, they look old, dirty and confusing.

We came here only because we had paid for the tourist ticket when we visited Sacsayhuaman, and we had some free time. It was underground, and a little hard to find. I took a photo of an empty display case! It desperately needs some funding....More

This museum was described as the mummie museum to us, and they do have a couple Inca mummies. Its a small museum, and if you do not have a lot of time I would recommend going to the Museum of regional history instead.

The museum is small and has some English translations. The day we went there seem to be an issue with the plumbing. No wows or compelling reasons to make a dedicated trip. Sad to say.

Skip this museum. It's a very small underground museum with poorly displayed artifacts. Some of them looked like grade 3 projects using coloured construction paper. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting- dirty and in poor repair. The best thing about this museum were the mummies and skulls-...More

A bare bones place that is in poor shape with minimum information regarding the Incas. The only interesting display was regarding the process of skull deformation. Only stop in if you have 10 minutes to kill and have already paid for your Boleto Turistico. Even...More

If you've already paid for a ticket which includes this at no extra cost, and you want to rest your eyes for 10 minutes, by all means wander in. Otherwise, it resembles nothing more that a badly-lit toilet with a couple of almost impossible to...More

Be wary, not the big museum regarding the Qoricancha site! This is only a very small museum with some interesting skulls but very little else. Do not buy the 70 soles bolleto turistico just to get in here, this place is worth about 5 soles....More

This was on our tourist 'boleto' so we went in and I was not impressed. Displays in this tiny museum were poorly crafted and in bad shape, sequencing was unclear and the facilities themselves didn't look (or even always smell) very good). Also, the text...More

I have to say we only went in because it was part of the tourist ticket and I'm glad we didn't pay extra for it. Its a very tiny museum of 5 small rooms with few artefacts. However I did find the last room particularity...More
