Worth the 15mins explanation

I found this really interesting. The whole chocolate making process was explained. Lots of free samples given. It's just a short walk from the main square.

We had a great time making chocolate. The teacher was entertaining and educational. The chocolate was expensive but delicious.

I lead a group of 27 students to Peru and our Tour Director suggested this as an add on during our time in Cusco. After a day of exploring the city this was a perfect way to end our time in Cusco. Not only was it informative and delicious it was such a blast! We had 3 separate groups and... More

I attended the bean to bar workshop led by "Jill" (not sure the correct spelling, but that's how he told us to pronounce it). The two hours flew by! The workshop was informative and a lot of fun. Jill is quite the character with excellent humor but he also knows his chocolate! I would recommend this experience if you have... More

I asked for a hot chocolate with soy milk and amaretto... It was a meal in itself :) Very well presented, well prepared. I don't think I will eat chocolate for the rest of the year... Lol! Try to get a seat at the balcony. The view adds to the experience.

A wonderful respite after exploring. Lots of souveniers can be bought here - cocoa tea, chocolate, tshirts, drinks etc ... a nice little place to explore as well if you do not fancy climbing up to tempel de sol.

This was a great experience. You get to learn a lot about chocolate and the cacao fruit, do some hands on processing of chocolate, and of course eat & drink much chocolate! The English instructor was very well spoken and he kept the energy & fun of the course going strong. This is a good idea for a day when... More

Very informative museum - I NEVER knew it took so many steps to produce chocolate! There were displays, samples and cooking demonstrations plus a café if you wanted a light meal and/or dessert, with hot cocoa, of course! We sat on a little balcony overlooking the plaza and experienced a magical rainbow hovering over the steeples while we sipped our... More

We booked the workshop "from bean to bar" with Juan and it was fantastic. He gave us a hands on experience and we created our own chocolate in the end which we could take home after it had cooled down. It's a small museum and we recommend doing the workshop. The cafe also has delicious creations with dark chocolate and... More
