We are the Only Inca Trail Tour Operator that has built a house for the Porters; Porters come to do this job from very far away communities up in the andes and had NO place to stay in in between treks; But NOW, they do have one and is called the LLama Path Porters' house - any one is welcome to visit this place at anytime-!

Llama Path are a superb company with wonderful, passionate people working for them. Alex, our guide, was superb. Genuinely kind and helpful, going far beyond what one would expect and very knowledgeable. The food (I am vegetarian) was also (slightly surprisingly) superb - incredibly tasty. I have rarely eaten that well! The trek itself was fantastic, I was paired up... More

Two friends and I used Llama Path for a guided trek of the Salkantay Pass in December 2016. Overall, we had a positive experience, but a lack of communication from the office staff and some grossly inefficient processes left us a little off-put. I've outlined below both the challenges and the downsides to planning a trek through Llama Path. Also,... More

Hi, Living in Peru within a Free market economy I have NO doubts that there are prices for all likes and pockets; even flying to Peru in the same plane you find different prices: Bussines, Tourist, Economy, etc and the same thing happens with restaurants and hotels 5*,4*,3*,2* and it`s a personal desition what price to pay for a good... We loved Alfred! His English was perfect and he excelled on the knowledge of the Inca trail and history. You can tell he truly loves his job and cares a lot about preserving the ruins. We were on the 1/20/17 classic Inca trail trek and loved every bit of it. The porters and staff was hardworking. They give their porters... More

Very good panoramic views... Good adventure... Really good Service from the workers, cookers, guide, etc... I just think 4 days would be better than 5

Llama Path was incredible the whole way through. It was extremely easy to book and pay the deposit online. Their website was detailed about the excursion itself and their team was prompt in responding to email questions. Once in Peru, the staff was extremely friendly and funny during orientation prior to beginning the excursion. They coordinate everything for you -... More

The day had started with the biggest and strongest member of our little group of eight tumbling from the train and over the ledge above a roaring river. Saved only by one white knuckled hand he hung until the quick actions of our guide hoisted him to safety. We stood and comprehended how the weight of our packs could compromise... More

Llama Path was perfect for us! All of the food was super tasty, the porters were friendly, and our guide was amazing. John Villanueva (our guide) was knowledgable about the trail and Incan culture, caring, and fun. He definitely played a role in our enjoyment of the trek. I would pick Llama Path again and recommend them to any of... More

Very accommodating & knowledgable guides. Amazing view throughout the 2 days hike and love the dinner out and view from the hotel! A must do and likely return for the 4-day trek next time.

My husband and I booked 3 tours with Llama Path. The first tour was a 1/2 day city tour, then Sacred Valley, and finally, the 2D/1N Inca Trail. We did quite a bit of research prior to booking and found that they were the most responsive - email response time was quick and questions were answered promptly - and prices... More

I have to be honest, I began my research into LP based on a recommendation from a friend who had gone before me. She did ample research and ended with LP. As avid travelers with similar interests & experiences, I had zero reason to doubt her. I did minimal comparisons to other companies and quickly realized LP offered a great... More
