You will find there a nice square with a beautiful panorama on the Misti and Pichu Pichu mountains under old arches. Good spot for taking pictures. Jules, Belgium

A nice walk from the historical centre of Arequipa. The park, church and arches are really pleasant.

Head to Yanahuara! It's one of the oldest parts of Arequipa. Be sure to visit the Picanteria 'La Nueva Palomino' open from 11am-5pm. After lunch head to the Mirador for dessert! Queso Helado and Buñelos. They are situated at the right of the park on...More

Yanahuara is a suburb of Arequipa that overlooks the surrounding countryside and Arequipa. The old streets and buildings, the church and the square are well worth the visit.

We found the view/place to be a bit over-rated. If you are willing to go off the beaten track, the view of the city from the Puente de Fierro is something special.

This is the view point above Arequipa. You get an unobstructed view of 2 volcanoes here. Watching the volcanoes lighted up in the sunset glow is magical. There are restaurants, craft shacks, and street food here.

Great place to get to know Arequipa. Beautiful narrow streets, doors with character, great small restaurants for breakfast and lunch, beautiful churches.

It is a great place, a bit off the must see tourist locations. A nice park, the church and a great view of the city invite you to stay and stroll around or sit and have a break here.

It's located in one of the plaza and many locals come here to admire the church and grab a view of the volcano misti in the distance. Had to join in and pose for a pic like everyone else!
