We live in Cuenca, so we chose to drive our guests up and save the $8 for the tour bus. This gave us more time to explore, and enjoy the fantastic views of Cuenca.

This is a wonderful spot to get an overview of Cuenca, and get a feel for the layout of the city. Eduardo Vega's pottery studio is just a short walk down the hill, and there are nice views from many spots.

We ate here three times and the view overlooking the city is impressive, especially so at night. The food is delicious and the service excellent. The manager was very accommodating and even called a taxi for us. I highly recommend this place.

The views from this area are what to go for. A reasonable cab ride or drive from the center of Cuenca, this is a very popular spot for tour buses to dump people and allow them to walk around and take in the view.
