The way might be tiring because of the distance from the center and the altitude, but it is extremely worth it! After getting to the view point I recommend walking 300 meters to the swing and having a even more amazing view of Cuenca.

Our guide took us to the viewpoint when sun has set and evening fell down. It was mesmerizing to see all the lights of the city when it was getting darker and darker. A nice end of our Cuenca visit

This is the perfect observation place to see this marvelous city. A day tour allows you to see the city in detail. A night tour let's you see how this city sparkles.

We went with the 8 dollar bus up the hill and made a stop at Turi.. We could not enter the Mirador or visit the terrace because it was closed. The surrounding area was quite filthy and stuffed with vendors.. 30 minutes is enough time...More

We took the hop on/hop off bus South City Tour (not really a hop on, hop off bus). It stops halfway through the tour for a half hour stop here. The views of the city are spectacular and the best place for pictures.

Went up at night and the view is spectacular but not much else to do up at top. There is some sort of swing and zip line and we didn't have any interest in doing it and especially at night. Great for photos. A couple...More

Old church. Great city view. Cafe and food. There are many reasons why you should visit Turi. My local friend told me Turi is considered as a must-visit place in Cuenca, and I think it truly is!

If you can handle seeing all the dogs ---neglected and in terrible shape--then go there. For me, it was a big turn off. People like to look the other way--but frankly, it is impossible Shame on the city and the population for allowing this situation...More

We were a bit disappointed when going up there. No cool bar or restaurant, nothing special to do except for the view on the city.
