It is just a small park located near San Blas Church

I saw this park on my way to San Blas Church. It is along very busy main roads, so one has to be very careful reaching this park. I spent about 5 minutes here!

This is a real eye catcher with the small church, terraces at a weak levels, statues and fountains. A nice place to take a break if you're walking.

Surprising a lot of restaurants were closed by the time my friends and unwanted to go eat dinner, but san blas was open fairly late and provided us with quick and friendly service. The food was delicious! The atmosphere is quaint and the coffee was a perfect end to a great day. Definitely make a spot in if you can... More

Beware this can be a dangerous area if you are on your own. Plaza San Blas is the main entry point into the World Heritage part of old town Quito. I was leaving the old town walking up Guayaquil at 5pm on a Sunday with a small backpack, probably looking like a tourist. Three people jumped on me, went through... More

The neighbourhood of San Blas is one of Quito’s oldest and at the beginning of the 20th century, the plaza of San Blas, in calle Guayaquil, marked the northern limit of the city. Incredible to think how the city has since extended so far north. The plaza has a simple, but beautiful church which was founded in the 16th century... More

I stayed right on this plaza in Hostal San Blas which was a nice place. The plaza has a small church and fountain and two restaurants - one with local fare that is a little pricey and the other with shishkebabs (ate there, but my chicken was not fully cooked so beware). It's a nice place to sit for a... More
