If you like views and a hot canelazo while enjoying it go here. We listened to the advices and didn't walk up or down but took a taxi. The views up here is amazing and absolutly worth a visit. Remember that the taxis want to...More

I rode the hop on hop off bus to get here. The statue is at the top of a very steep hill. While the neighborhood did not appear dangerous, I would use caution if you choose to walk up the hill. I felt I saw...More

It cost $4.00 for a taxi from the old town or for fit people you can walk up for free. There are good city views from the top of the statue or the surrounding parkland. It is worth paying the $1.00 entrance fee to explore...More

Kind of a weird statue, but it is worth visiting on a double decker bus. The view was amazing and great for taking pictures of the city of Quito.

The statue itself is very nice in it's own right, but the views are fantastic to boot. Well worth the time. A must see in Quito

It is work coming up here because the views are to die for. The statue itself is rather unusual as a big silver one of the Virgin Mary.

We visited here on our first day. Our guide explained the significance of the design. If you want you can climb up the surrounding base of the statue. Good photo opportunity of the area. Altitude can be imposing the first day.

Hi. I think the museum closes at 6h30 pm. So you'll have a chance to catch the sunset.
