Very interesting art work. Fortunately were able to attend a free concert the night of 3/16. An excellent venue for a performance

Well done to the Jesuits. Sunny days are best as the light glitters off the gold. Go early in the morning to avoid long and constant ship cruise tours filling the church.

Beautiful church. Unfortunately it was crazy busy on Easter weekend so we never made it inside the church but the outside and the main entrance is beautiful and was worth visiting with our walk around the old town

From the outside you think it is just another cathedral. But once you step inside, it is opulent. I have never seen so much gold. You cannot take pictures once inside but the beauty will stay with you forever.

We enjoyed this church because of the uniqueness of nearly everything being covered in gold leaf, however, honestly it is not most beautiful church in Quito for us.

Absolutely beautiful! The ornate gold walls were indescribable. I only regret that I couldn't take pictures of the inside.
