This mirador is a must visit for new Valparaíso visitors for a view of the port and the entire city. However, you must be prepared to walk up via the stairs since the Artillería elevator that reaches this place is no longer in service. This is right next to the Navy museum.

We were recommended to visit this plaza but didn't really see much value to site. There is a view of the city but mostly it was a area with tacky tourist items.

You can have a nice walk and see an upper view of the port of Valparaiso. It is a public place and you take a nice picture of it. If you like boats and ports, you can enjoy and take a peak on the process.

The view of this area is over the top with old homes fro the past the landscape and flowers are a thing of beauty walking thru the streets and down the hill from the million dollar view we were going to take the signature funicular elevator but was closed because of protesters so we walked to the bottom to see the heart of the city

This has great views of the working port but the area also has character with some old cafes and colorful buildings. The Artilleria was closed because of unrest so there was not a lot happening. The old buildings had color and character.

This is a nice walk to one of Valparaiso most prominent hills, Playa Ancha. It is fun if you take the old lift from la Aduana, then walk around a street with art crafts and a super view of the bay. There is also the Museo Maritimo Nacional, which I think is the main atraction plus the nice view

This walkway offers a craft market and views of the harbor, i would imagine the sunset views would be impressive as well. I find the views from the other side of Valparaiso to be a little more scenic outside of the signature blue house on the cliff side. You need to ride the Ascensor Artilleria and this is the view at the top, so you might as well explore it a bit. If you enjoy the working harbor, there are great views of it from here.

There isn't really a lot here, but the funicular is interesting, 100 years old. The area has a few cafes, restaurants and shops. There is a small market selling usual tourist stuff. The view is over the bay and pretty good, although directly below is the container port. I enjoyed the container port a lot, fascination how it works
