I was just wandering around getting a feel for the city and found this block with some beautiful old buildings in great condition, didn't know it was listed on TripAdvisor.
If you like old buildings and are in the area check it out.

Take the Bernardo O'Higgins South exit in the Los Heroes subway. Street is a short walk away. Quiet area populated mainly by students as many buildings are run by universities. Nice for a short stroll to see the homes of a bygone era, but wouldn't recommend if you only have limited time in the city. The oldest restaurant in the city, Confiteria Torres can be found here, as can Palacio Cousino, the interior of which was closed for renovations; however, the outside can still be viewed.

For the tourists who like architecture and walking, as well as going off the beaten track, this is a real find. Dozens of old mansions that once belonged to wealthy families can be seen in this street. And it is very quiet and tourist-free.

I was trying to follow this map and it pointed me to a wrong direction. Please correct this trip advisor map!!!!!!! In any case, like someone said, THERE IS NOTHING here and the place is in the middle of a nasty place. It's big waste of time!
