Not much to see, some restaurants, some ice cream shops and some landmarks and fountains. Some days, there are artistic exhibits in the parks nearby. Locals will tell you to beware of un-friendly people and burglars.

I visited Av. Italia, right after lunch, and it was a good place to walk and visit a lot of small galleries with stores, nice cafes, some restaurants, etc.

The shops are tiny. The restaurants are tiny. The prices are low. The people are friendly and the area is very interesting.

This is touted as one of the barrios to visit in Santiago but after visiting Barrio Lastarria, this is decidedly a distant second. It was nice enough with various shops and restaurants but none that really screamed to be visited. Would not spend more than...More

Nice neighborhood here. A few places to eat/drink. Clean(ish). I did not find anything here revolutionary or life-changing. Average nice city area. I would recommend if in the area.

From restaurants, also vegan, to small shops and antique and old wares shops and of course the second hand and refurbished furniture shops. Sadly these shops are giving way to more and more restaurants! Certainly well worth a visit

this area of town is great for restaurants, cafés, and design shops. Lot's of small surprised are hidden and just need to be discovered.

Nice neighborhood with many good places to eat and bars. Better to visit at night, nothing special during the day.

Bario Italia is a surprise. Every corner reveals something new, unique or fun. Nice cafes and a variety of restaurants. One of my favorite places. If you like antiques, this is a must.

Unique area to people watch. The shops are pretty pricy a silver and lapis ring $475.00 USD. All the restaurants extremely crowded.
