Great little gem in the heart of Santiago!
This small portress and grounds have a beautiful Neptune fountain, and a great view from the top of the heart of Santiago. There are nice walking paths and there are several important historical items. When you walk in you put your name down and walk up the stairs to the fountain area. If you're near the Santa Lucia subway station, STOP in and savor this place.

A lovely walk with a few historic buildings
We spent an hour wandering around the park, from the top there is a fabulous 360° view of Santiago. There is a lovely old church and I really liked the Neptune fountain. Unfortunately many of the paths were closed,

    Beautiful vistas and gardens
Beautiful park with great overlooks of city, Andes mountains, and surrounded by beautiful well maintained gardens. Step and handrails a bit deteriorated but overall a quiet, safe place in a crazy busy city. And it’s free.

    Nice introduction to the city
Cerritos Santa Lucia offers a pleasant walk in a well maintained garden park. The views of the city and surrounding mountains is fantastic from the castle on top of the hill. Try to get there when the smog is not too bad, either early in the morning or after a rainstorm.

Great to kill an hour in
It’s in the heart of the city and easy to get to. Good views from the top but at the time we went you could not go in the castle. Nice walk and I think when the water fountains are going and the flowers out it would be pleasant Safe as all gates are manned by security.

    Great Views, Watch Your Step
Great view of the city. The view from the terrace closest to the top is the best view in my opinion, as the top is crowded and the tallest building is hidden by a tree (which they seemed to be chopping down when I visited, so that may not be the case anymore. The stairs are worn and slippery, so be careful on the way down and use the handrail.

A hilltop in the middle of Santiago de Chile. You can view many culturally important buildings from the top, including the Costanera, South America's tallest building.

Nice place to hang out, with a nice city view. Local authorities should do a better job of protecting this place from being vandalized with graffiti

an amazing place to visit, we took half an hour to walk up the hill and around the statue. At the front gate, a lady tried to divert us to some tourist stalls but genrally it was a lovely place to visit with good views.

We recommend walking to the top. The view of the city makes the climb worthwhile. A walk up and down and a short time at the top can be done in no more than three hours.
