Happened upon this area by chance. Fountain not totally in full flow, but still a grand sight. Climbed up to fountain level from street and some in our group went higher. Must be able to climb long flight of stairs.

This is a must in Santiago. It is amazing to have this hill with an old Spanish fort (Castillo Hidalgo) and so much greenery in the middle of downtown Santiago. We walked to the top of the hill, watched the Caupolican terrace with its totems...More

In the middle of Santiago a historic beautiful place. A reasonable walk where the canon tells you is 12 noon. Beautiful and accessible. Barrio Lastarria near with good food and coffee.

I love this historical park in the middle of the City. It's many trails winding around as you climb the hill provide beautiful architecture and many surprises. The climb to the top is fun.

We spent 2 hour-walking in this beautiful yellowish building with amazing arts and very delightful, green, old trees in the park behind is relaxing. The cafe is in the main level. The design and statue in fountain in front is a must visit.
