Right in the middle of Santiago, a small but nice park/hill, with some interesting buildings and a very nice view of the center of the city. Recommended

Nice place for a walk for tourists in Santiago. You can even have picnic there or wait for the sunset after a long day walking.

It was there for the pre-hispanic population, later becoming a military stronghold and the first astronomical observatory. It still reminisces some of its splendor, burgeoius ingenuity and a magnificent landscape when inaugurated on its current form late 19th. century.

This is a small hill with a castella at the top. The views of Santiago from the top were good and you could just make out the Andes in the background through the mist. A nice walk in a nice park.

Great chilled out spirit locked in a city park. Here you can enjoy multiple sites from Spanish past of the city as well as number of view points from the city North.
