Call ahead to make sure the museum is open. I wish we had. I had double-checked the museum's opening hours on its website before going there on a Sunday afternoon, but that wasn't enough. When we arrived, the gate was closed. There was a guard...More

OK, maybe I shouldn't have visited this museum, as I'm really not that interested in fashion, but I though it would be a nice change from history, and to learn something different. Firstly, it is VERY difficult to get to! You have to take a...More

Fascinating exhibit from the 80s, with an international focus. Lots of neat fashion, and the house in which the museum is located was built by the founder's parents. That in itself is worth a visit! Highly recommend.

We easily combined this visit with going to the Ralli museum and as part of that stroll, an interesting walk through the affluent suburb of Vitacura. On arrival, look out for the mad crashed cars in the gardens and then be ready to pay a...More

If fashion is at all of interest, this museum will provide a wonderful view into the past. Not for everyone--my husband would have loved the architecture, been bored by the time capsule of fashion--but I loved it. Take a map to show your cab driver--it's...More
