Founded in 1856, Cousino Macul is the only winery in Chile amongst those established in the 19th century that continues in the hands of the original founding family. The company remains 100% under family control, producing limited quantities of fine wines.

The mission of Cousino Macul is to produce world-class wines that are unmistakably Chilean, carrying the distinctive character of the Maipo Valley.

Awesome estate and property to explore. Lots of solid Chilean wines to taste and very comfortable areas to relax with glasses of wine. Cristobal was a phenomenal tour guide. Very knowledgeable & great personality. If you've got a few hours to kill in Santiago, it's only a short metro ride away. ¡Salud!

We had a small group tour of the winery, its' heritage areas and then a wine tasting. Our guide was Valentina who was excellent - she included alow key, and she had great knowledge of the winery and its' wines. lesson on wine tasting which was very helpful. As the visit included stairs down to the cellars, it is not... More

I was en route to lunch and dropped in. No tour - I just wanted to try their produce and Matias looked after me superbly. It's an elegant but friendly and down-to-earth winery and I came away with some very good red that I'm drinking as I write this. Definitely worth a visit.

My experience in Cousiño Macul was A M A Z I N G! I went to Santiago to enjoy Christmas holidays with my girlfriend. We did the Wine and bike tour in Cousiño Macul. Nicolás was the guide and he had a support partner which followed us for all the tour. My girlfriend had serious trouble to get used to... More

We ordered the premium tour and tasting. The staff both at the store area were not hospitable, and unfortunately in some cases were outright rude. For example - when we asked the tour guide a question, he complained to us and said that he already spoke about the topic, implying that it was too big a chore for him to... More

We rolled up without a reservation on the morning of NYE and they were cool with it. We got a tour in English with several other folks and our guide did a marvelous job. We went out to the vineyard for a bit and then into the production and storage areas. After that the wine tasting began. Very enjoyable and... More

One of my favorite wineries- like the basic wines and loved the premium lota. Was awaiting this trip. Poor customer service with no responsiveness to emails; greeted by rude reception. Andreas at front fest should have formative training in customer service. The tour itself was ok- very nice old cellar; only very superior Iael explanation on the wines. The tasting... More
