Simply put, the AndoAndes tour was an unforgettable experience. I was originally scheduled for the more intense trek on El Morado, but due to heavy rain the day before the pass was closed. I was given two options for rebooking and chose the Volcano Day tour, but when we got to the mountain pass there were police officers stopping us... More

Dear Conor, thank you very much for your rate an review, we had some rough days the last week because as you know, it was not possible for some days to climb the mountain. We were very sad because several of our passengers had to leave Santiago without being able to live the experience of a day in the mountains... More

Booked through Expedia. AndoAndes promptly reached out to confirm and get other information they needed from us. The day before departure was told via email that El Morado National Park was closed, and was offered "Full-Day Andes Hike & Baños Colina Hot Springs Tour" or a refund instead. We accepted the other tour as it was pretty similar to what... More

If you are looking to get out in the Andes and hike and not just take pictures, this tour is for you! We did a private tour, which was much better than a group! It is more personable and you control what you want to do or how long you want to stay. While the tour picks you up early... More

This excursion was the highlight of our trip to Chile. The hike was fairly easy and the views were SPECTACULAR! The direct pickoff/drop off was so very convenient. The food was great- as was the sampling of regional cheeses and wine! Such a nice surprise. Our group had the BEST experience on our tour with Gonzalo! Gonzalo really set the... More

I was anticipating a short hike or something similar to a hike, however this tour was essentially a ride up the Andes Mountains, we passed a couple of waterfalls (which we stopped at on the return to take pictures of) and a short walk around the bend of the lake (or lagoon). The scenery is wonderful and a sight to... More

Had the most wonderful day trip with direct pickup/dropoff from the hostel I was staying at in Santiago! Gonzalo lead our volcanic hike with amazing facts about the land, history and nature surrounding us. A tasty lunch was provided with all the water you would need and a special treat of delicious Chilean wine at the summit of the volcano.... More

Picked up at the hotel in the city at around 7am. Went to collect the next group of people who decided to no-show (that is the downside of the company not requiring a deposit). Next person picked up and again his colleague had decided to drop out. That made 3 of us in total which made for a more personal... More

Longish but interesting drive out of Santiago, followed by amazing scenery of the Andes, easy walk (but we live in North Wales and flatlanders may find it more challenging), pleasant picnic and then wallowing in the hot springs. Only negative was the changing rooms at the hot springs - not the most salubrious! Big positive was Gonzalo Ballesteros, our guide,... More
