Corr, this is a great little place to visit. We visited just after the earthquake in Dec 2016, and the river runs very fast around here within this forest setting

The waterfalls, though not at their high point, were spectacular enough to cause me to write a poem. You need not spend a lot of time here, but you should stop and let the water metaphorically wash over you at Petrohue Waterfalls. It is the world winding down from the melting bounty of the mountains. Hint: Shop here. Not usually... More

The scenery is spectacular reminding one of New Zealand and the Smokey mountains. Go to Petrohue falls. Enjoy the lake vistas.

Beautiful and natural landscape. Accessible to all ages. Better with your own car or rental car to reach the area.

Vicente Perez Rosales Park is situated an hours drive from Puerto Montt. There is spectacular scenery on the way to the park as the road travels along the shore of Lake Llanquihue, the largest body of fresh water in Chile. Puerto Varas is a picturesque alpine tourist town on the lake with restaurants and facilities. The trip is an excellent... More

We travelled by boat and train from Argentina to Chile and part of the journey was through this national park. The scenery was quite stunning with the lakes, rivers and the volcanos. The Osorno volcano was quite stunning and reminds one of some of the other well known volcanos throughout the world. Although we had no time for stopping it... More

I only wish we would have spent more time in this amazing park. Fantastic hiking and it is such an experience hiking so close to the volcano. I highly recommend going up to the ski resort and taking the lift and hiking around that area as well. Spending time in this park was my favorite part of visiting Puerto Varas... More

We had lovely clear weather which made this visit exceptionally lovely. We started out early and headed to the top of the road on Volcán Orsorno the have the mountain to ourselves. With the sun behind us, we enjoyed the views to the west over the lake to the ocean. We then headed to Lago Todos de Santos (aka Emerald... More

This is a well-maintained and beautiful national park to visit. Its location is close to Osorno Volcano and Puerto Varas which make it a perfect day-trip destination. The lake and the waterfall are spectacular, as are the trees and forest-like setting.
