If you find yourself in the southern Chilean Lake District- this National Park is a must visit. The view of the volcanos and river is simply indescribable. It is easily accessed and has very easy hiking/walking areas to view from the best vantage points. #breathtaking

We are amazed at all the beautiful national parks we have visited in Chile and this one is no exception. Volcanoes, turquoise waters, and beautiful forests.

We spent the morning viewing the Petrohue River Falls. Fabulous colours in the water. Unfortunately there were very few birds to be seen even though they could be heard

Just a beautiful location. The water is crystal clear and there are numerous water cascades over rocks as the river makes its way through the valley. Make sure to take the pathway down to the river past the falls first and save the path to...More

My wife and I traveled through the park from Chile to Argentina as part of a Tauck tour in South America. Great trip on buses and boats. Wonderful scenery. Some very bumpy roads and all and all a memorable trip

This is a really beautiful nature park with a waterfall with the volcanic mountain as its backdrop. Definitely a must visit.

It really is worth stopping over here for a walk out to the waterfalls. The water itself is the most stunning blue/green as it’s meltwater from the glaciers.

As someone has said before me - most national parks are really beautiful and I can only agree with that statement. Each of them has its own particularity and some special sights that remain in our memory with or without pictures taken on the spot....More

We stopped here for Petrohhue Falls. It was very busy on a Friday, I would hate to see what weekends are like! The falls were wild and wonderful. We would have liked to have more time to hike some of the trails. Nice that there...More

We hired a taxi and he took us to the trails. He just needed to know how long we wanted the tour to last.

I would still go hike in Saltos de Petrohue, just don't try to walk all the routes, you can easily turn back when you decide you would like to. Enjoy!
