Beautiful scenery, nice place to go for a long or short hike. The water was so clear and the view from the first mirador overlooking Volcan Osorno was great, even with the clouds! It took us about an hour for 5-6km.

Understand this is a spot where folks rent a room for a few days and just relax, Maybe hike or boat. Bit remote - one small restaurant. Unfortunately we were there during the dreaded 6 weeks of horse flies that were swarming along the lake.

Wonderful and incredible views of three volcanoes. Take the boat ride, it's well worth it. You can get photos of all the mountains and have different views than people on land.

We took Cruce Andino's 12 hour bus/boat trip across the Andes from Puerto Varas to Bariloche and one of the longest legs of the trip is the catamaran ride across Lago Todos Los Santos. It is an indescribably spectacular lake surrounded by the cordillera of...More

We went on the boat tour up to Peulla, where other people continued their journey to Bariloche. We came back to Chile on the same day. The views from the ship are breathtaking. Everything is so calm, and you get to see three volcanos. The...More

We took the boat ride to Peulla. It was a long boat right (1.5 hours) but so beautiful. Definitely want to do this on a nice day and in the afternoon - we noticed that many times in the morning, the volcanos were surrounded by...More

The passage from Argentina to Chile, through Lago Todos Los Santos, is a beautiful journey. The colours of the lake, the vegetation in its margins and the imposing presence of the volcanoes combine to produce a lasting memory of this region.

We arrived at the lake and then found that the boat trip was an eight hour jaunt- much more than we wanted. We were able to arrange with a local boatman at the dock to take us out for a hour for a very reasonable...More

Enjoyed the crossing to Bariloche. Fantastic scenery. Reminded me of the Alaska inside passage in some places.

One way from Puerto Varas to Puella is around $60. From Petrohue is less. My trip from Puerto Varas to Barilocho included a stop at Petrohue and Puella. This is one trip I wouldn't miss because of cost. Staggering beauty... More
