We really lucked into hearing a very local band (accordion and guitar) playing on the pier with dancing. We were on a private tour, so we took as long as we wanted, and walked the beach. Lovely sunny day!

Every time I've been to Frutillar, I've fallen in love with the feeling of order and cleanliness that this city transmitts with its german colonial architecture, surrounded by the most beautiful landscapes shaped by the peaceful Llanquihue lake in one side, the wide green forests in the other side and the majestic Osorno Volcano reigning at the back of the scene. In addition to those attractions, if you visit this lovely town, you can't miss a sightseeing to Teatro del Lago, Muelle Frutillar and also a visit to the Colonial Museum, which gives you an idea of the way the local people lived at that time, of how where their houses equiped, with its furniture and every sort of tools. And last but not least, you can't leave Frutillar without trying a piece of some delighting kuchen or pie.

Frutillar is a city that makes you feel delighted at first glance. Maybe because of its quiet lifestyle -not in high season, of course- or maybe because of the amazing vistas you can have of the lake, the volcano, the theatre by the lake, and even of the frontwater row of houses, that make you feel like you were somewhere else.
This pier was opened in 2008 and from there you can get the best pictures of the Llanquihue lake, as well as the Osorno volcano -if it's not covered by clouds as it usually is!
I recommend you to visit it and also try some kuchen, the most outstanding food inherited by the German settlers, in any of the bakery houses nearby. I've never had any bad experience at any of of these places!
Once you visit it you'll want to come back.

Essentially, as you are walking the beach, or along the road beside the beach in Frutillar, you pass the Muelle Frutillar. It is a quiet place to enjoy the view.

Quick to see, you can get uninterupted views of the volcano across the lake and some nice lake breeze too. Not a bad photo op as well, enough people passing by someone can snap you photo for you.

It is great to walk along the shoreline and then down to the end of the pier with great views and water all around.

This is very close to the theater. It is not very interesting, as there are no shops along it, but it is a nice place to stop by and take some photos, especially if you are nearby.

Beside loving the view, the flowers and the chocolate, that I totally recommend going there and see the lake with calm and patience.
It feels great, the air is clean, everything is clean.
I totally loved going. Also is free!

This pier was apparently restored in 2008. It is charming and graces the end of the promenade in this small town. If going to Frutillar, walk down to see it!

The pier offers a scenic lookout of the lake and the town. Other than that there is not much to say about it.

Hola voy a estar viajando a osorno en auto en febrero y me gustaría que me recomendaran que lugares ir. Tenía pensado puerto mont, Puerto varas y Frutillar. No tengo muchos días. Solo 3 Saludos
