Went in early in the morning to enquire for some information, but the staff wasn't really friendly. They are not knowledgeable about Singapore Tourism Promotion too.

Small visitor centre with basic information and deals that can be found online. Only visit if you are in the area. Staff helpful but very keen to get you to buy packages etc but aren't overly pushy.

This centre has friendly staff selling souvenirs and providing information about the Chinatown District. We found them to be quite informative. They also sell tickets to Singapore attractions at a few dollars less than buying them at those attractions.

Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful
sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling
sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its
blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an
Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit
almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony
continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to
the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill.
