Unfortunately COVID19 strikes in 2020. Travel, tourism is non existent. Hence this formally bustling part of Singapore slowly grind to a halt. Many businesses suffered and shuttered. A shadow of its formal glory. Used to be a haven for jewelry, watches, money transmitting, shoes, travel ticketing and massages. There is even a 50 year old Rolex boutique. Today, more than half of the shops are empty. Hopefully the Pandemic would be over, we resume our lives and travel, tourism resume and People's Park can go back to its formal glory.

Located at China Town MRT, this shopping centre has it all.
I came here to buy a watch for a cheap price and am very pleased with it.
Walking around the centre are lots of stall holders all trying to eke out a living, many of which offer remedial massage.
Some of these stall holders are dressed in such a way as to suggest there might be Happy Endings!!!

Locate right across peoples park complex, Mr Lim Foot reflexology is easy to find and not forgetting many outlet in the building. The price is fair and not going to burn a hole in peoples pocket.
Will recommend tourist and working adults to go there for a relax foot reflexology before heading for a dinner nearby as a perfect package. Not forgetting lots of nice food around china town!

There seems to be 2 parts of this complex, the airconditioned part houses all the travel agencies, massage places and also a mini supermarket. The non-airconditioned part is where the textile/fabric district is located. the surrounding area is filled with the scent of chinese incense and food. The fabric district is a must visit for any quilters/sewist. I went on a Sunday, so some stores are closed, however there was still a big selections of fabrics to choose from. The prices were reasonable, starting at SGD$5/yard for cottons. They mostly have japanese cotton which is great. Notable mentions are Malin Textiles, she carries some cute japanese knits, a wide selection of linens and cottons. Seng Heng Textiles carries some of the best plaids for shirts selections I have seen yet. The quality is also exceptional. He also carries italian superfine wool for suits. I went to all the stores and they were very friendly and not pushy at all. Will definitely be back

I come to this sprawling food court in Chinatown for fish hotpot and especially for chili crab, although a plethora of other dishes is available. There is an air-conditioned section called Friendship Food Court where I order a platter of Sichuan-style chili crab, which uses the numbing Sichuan peppercorns. Other stalls sell other versions of crab as well.
Like most popular food courts, it's not fine dining, but it can be satisfying and it's real-life Singapore, and you won't go away hungry.

Every now and then this mall will go in the news for Scam revelation- Do not buy IT-Items here. Contrary to popular belief, the currency exchange rate here is not as good as it seems- Raffles has better. Nothing special here.

Anywhere you go here it’s cheap great food and plenty of it. It has been some time since I have been here but it’s still the same. All the food stalls are friendly and if you have kids that aren’t into great fresh Asian foods there is McDonald’s there as well.

We found numerous shops, money changers with good rates and massage places to explore in the People's park complex. The food court down the bottom offers value for money and we ate there a couple of times trying different foods each time. A great place to explore right near Chinatown.

Great food courts which have almost every type of local cuisines. OG department store is my favourite as it is at a lower end and still carries a great range of goods at a heavily discounted price. PPC has one of the best money changer (higher rates) in Singapore right at the front of the building next to the main road. You always see a long queue but worth waiting. Lastly it has both MRT and bus right at your fingertips.

Very busy but hard to find anything. Good food court and floor 3 has an overpass to the more western China Point.

People’s park is a shopping centre so I am unsure why you are asking here. This Q and A is for travellers questions about the shopping centre and Foodcourt.
You can not rent private apartments in Singapore for periods of under 3 months as it is illegal and breaches local housing laws. All the private rentals listed on AirBnb and TripAdvisor and hotel booking sites are illegal rentals. Please book a hotel or a hostel.
