Must visit on a trip to Singapore. Amazing view of the skyline of Singapore with Marina Bay Sands on one end. Gets crowded during weekends. Preferably better to visit on the evening when the sun is about to set. Picturesque spot

I think no trip to Singapore is complete without a Merlion shot. This Merlion Park, I think, is the most accessible. You can walk to take good pictures, and you'll pass by the area via most bus tours too.

The whole scene here is super fun. Yes it is a little crazy with all the selfies going on, but it's worth it to see such an icon. The whole scene is great especially towards the end of the day. You can see the cityscape, the marina bay hotel across the bay, the flyer (ferris wheel), and the esplanade theatre,... More

Just came here by myself and walked the promenade. It is very beautiful and it also shows how amazing this country is. The view of Marina Bay is stunning at anytime.

We visited the Merlion Park both in the night and day. We took a walk all the way to Marina Bay Sands in the night under lights and it was a really beautiful scene. We were there on a Saturday night and there was a live band performing too, This place is a must visit after 8 pm to see... More

Staying in Marina Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina Bay
More of a mini city than a neighbourhood in the traditional sense, the iconic Marina Bay aims to dazzle and entertain visitors of all kinds. This is the Singapore found in glossy brochures, featuring a world-class hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions all geared towards pure entertainment. The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands provides a stunning view of the city, a must-see photo opportunity for visitors and locals alike. The ArtScience Museum always has a top-quality exhibition, and Gardens by the Bay is a fascinating manifestation of the government’s vision of Singapore as a “city in a garden”. Enticing Marina Bay is well worth a visit.
