Great to be here at the end of Chinese New Year

One of many great parks around the harbour , such a picturesque setting We were inundated with Japanese tourists whilst there , who all seemed to be enjoying the park .

Sad we didint get a chance to take a picture, because it was for construction or something. The note says Merlion is taking a bath. So people to tend to take pictures in the small merlion fountain. There is also a good spot for taking picture over viewing the Marina Bay.

There is not much to see or do here but if you treat this as your starting point then walk along the waterfront to the Marina Bay Sands and visit the Art Science Museum, it is a more interesting combination. There are more food options at the bayfront and do catch the free outdoor musical laser lightshow at the bayfront... More

We really wanted to have a pic with the merlion, unfortunately it was not available when we went there, the sign said he was taking a bath. This is really a nice place. This symbolises what Singapore is all about.

Signature place to be in at Merlion park. once at Singapore a photograph without the Merlion at the side or back is not complete. Nice place to be in for some time. on a sunny day it's hot and sunglasses are a must.

I was very much looking forward to seeing the Merlion statue, but arrived to find it shrouded in scaffolding and wrapping with signs that said "I'm taking a shower!" Nice views of the river, however.

It is the mostly visited place in Singapore, as it was known to be its icon. The place is impressive and clean. Though be careful to take a picture so near the Merlion, you might get wet as the waters go long distance especially if the weather is windy.

The famous merlion!! Every time someone visits Singapore, clicks a pic with Merlion! It is a popular spot and even I was excited to click a snap with Merlion.. It was a rainy day but I did it! It is in mid of all high towers with best of best banks surrounded!

Never miss going out SG without visiting the infamous Merlion Park. The Park is very clean and has a very nice view overlooking the Marina Bay and Botanical Garden. You can be very creative when taking the picture of the Merlion. There are many tourists at the park all the time, so you better strategize how to capture a good... More

Staying in Marina Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina Bay
More of a mini city than a neighbourhood in the traditional sense, the iconic Marina Bay aims to dazzle and entertain visitors of all kinds. This is the Singapore found in glossy brochures, featuring a world-class hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions all geared towards pure entertainment. The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands provides a stunning view of the city, a must-see photo opportunity for visitors and locals alike. The ArtScience Museum always has a top-quality exhibition, and Gardens by the Bay is a fascinating manifestation of the government’s vision of Singapore as a “city in a garden”. Enticing Marina Bay is well worth a visit.
