Great Place but not a must see

We stopped here from the Hop On Hop Off bus to see it. It is a cool thing to see but would not say a must do. Statue with water shooting out if it's mouth.

The Merlion is probably an icon of Singapore, you have to visit, the park has great views of Singapore Skyline. It is a great spot for photos.

despite of constant crowd visit to this well-known landmark of Singapore, I'm impress that the nearby public toilet was so well-maintained and even easily accessible by those group that needs special care.

Merlion can be viewed close up without the crowds by taking a river boat ride from Clark Quay or duck boat tour which either one will stop directly in front of this icon on the bay....photo moment here .

A must visit place. Strongly suggest to go in the evening to enjoy the dusk views, lighting around the skyline and Marina bay.

This place was part of our city tour in the morning but we passed by already the night before because we were told that its more beautiful at night with all the lights, true enough, it really was beautiful!

It's a MUST! You have to walk around here and take that photo with the Merlion! You haven't been to Singapore if you don't!

A sight that is worthwhile seeing as you pass by but which would not warrant a separate specific journey to see it alone. Suggest it is used as part of a familiarisation walkabout.

We know that this is the most iconic landmark in Singapore. So as it's name this is of course the most must visit place in singapore, if at least for the first time. Though this place is only sight viewing and taking picture, there's is a boat you can pay to have a tour nearby but i didn't try that.... More

Staying in Marina Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina Bay
More of a mini city than a neighbourhood in the traditional sense, the iconic Marina Bay aims to dazzle and entertain visitors of all kinds. This is the Singapore found in glossy brochures, featuring a world-class hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions all geared towards pure entertainment. The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands provides a stunning view of the city, a must-see photo opportunity for visitors and locals alike. The ArtScience Museum always has a top-quality exhibition, and Gardens by the Bay is a fascinating manifestation of the government’s vision of Singapore as a “city in a garden”. Enticing Marina Bay is well worth a visit.
