Nice little park on the river/downtown. Great place for pics and a walk around the downtown area. Worth the time.

Maybe because it was a Sunday or because it was a the last night of the iLight festival, the Merlion Park was crowed. You had to wait a few minutes to get to a spot to where you could even get a glimpse to take a photo. As it is just a photo opportunity to add to your Singapore memories,... More

Mermaid and Lion. Thts the iconic symbol of Singapore. The experience was good. The place is not difficult to find. Raffles Place MRT Station and walk 5mins down. Theres a show where d Merlion became colourful and i enjoyed it very much. The splashes of water makes this place cooler as it most the atmosphere. Do come over and take... More

My family paved a visit to Singapore last week. So we went around the country. This Merlion is a must-see when you're here. Since its near other tourist spots too. Its pretty convenient to come here.

First time in Singapore, and seeing the Merlion was our first stop. It is truly an amazing sight. The Merlion is really a must see when in Singapore, I feel. We went in the evening when it was still light, to be able to take good photos, but also it is so worth it to stay until the light show... More

Staying in Marina Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina Bay
More of a mini city than a neighbourhood in the traditional sense, the iconic Marina Bay aims to dazzle and entertain visitors of all kinds. This is the Singapore found in glossy brochures, featuring a world-class hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions all geared towards pure entertainment. The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands provides a stunning view of the city, a must-see photo opportunity for visitors and locals alike. The ArtScience Museum always has a top-quality exhibition, and Gardens by the Bay is a fascinating manifestation of the government’s vision of Singapore as a “city in a garden”. Enticing Marina Bay is well worth a visit.
