Must-visit in Singapore

It's just a must visit in Singapore. A very beautiful statue at the waterfront and in front of the skyline. You can take nice pictures there.

Since it is one of the tourist attractions in Singapore, the park becomes too crowded that you can't take a photo without photobombers!! LOL!! Better to visit at night so it's not very hot! Must wear comfortable clothing as this is an open area and have direct sunlight!! I thought that we will be amazed coz it is very famous... More

Lovely views from ground level with lovely surroundings close to cafes. Great as a daytime and nights activity to see contrast between am/pm views.

You can't leave this country without vising the famous merlion. This is the symbol of singapore, we had a walk at night from the MBS going here and it was not really a cool night even if it is January

Built in 1972, the Merlion statue was relocated from the mouth of Singapore River to its current site in 2002. The location is ideal for photo shot, with Fullerton hotel as its backdrop. (BTW, the Fullerton building, completed in 1928 once houses the Singapore General Post Office). Shot by day or by night, the pictures will turn out perfect. From... More

The most famous landmark in Singapore. The walk to the Merlion is quite fun, especially in a sunny bright day. The Merlion itself is busy full of tourists taking pictures but this was expected. Near the area, there are a couple of cafes and a few expensive restaurants.

My favorite spot next to Marina Bay. Can be really overrun by tourists so I'd suggest visiting early in the morning. There is a couple of good restaurants nearby and a food stall near the Esplanade.

Just a Memoir picture to have visited Singapore. Nothing great for tourists . They should add more affordable eateries around the bay

You only need to go here once. It's like a must visit for the first timer, but not for the second time. You won't have that willingness to come again

Staying in Marina Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina Bay
More of a mini city than a neighbourhood in the traditional sense, the iconic Marina Bay aims to dazzle and entertain visitors of all kinds. This is the Singapore found in glossy brochures, featuring a world-class hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions all geared towards pure entertainment. The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands provides a stunning view of the city, a must-see photo opportunity for visitors and locals alike. The ArtScience Museum always has a top-quality exhibition, and Gardens by the Bay is a fascinating manifestation of the government’s vision of Singapore as a “city in a garden”. Enticing Marina Bay is well worth a visit.
