We stayed in a hotel at Clark Quay, which made us walk the site every day. It is enjoyable and interesting at any time of the day, but on sunset is the best moment.

The river is wide and offers boat tours. Although the water has been cleaned for some years it does still appear very brown but I guess the monsoon rains will have had an effect.
