Such a colorful building whether walking the street or if seen from the Bumboats. The Hill Street Building, MICA Building, was the old Hill Street Police Station, when the Japanese took over. Lots of urban legends about the building like it was the HQ for the Kempeitai (the Japanese secret police.) Lots of interesting stories about this building on the... More

This former police station, is a historically listed as a national monument which is located right along Clarke Quay. The facade of the multi-coloured windows stands out and makes for a nice photograph. Although a listed monument, it is not actually an attraction as such.

A simple concept. All the windows are colourfully painted with Bright colours. It is actually a Police station but an ordinary building is turned into a spectacular one just by adding colours. You can't miss it and you can't resist clicking few pics.

This building stands on Hill Street near the Singapore River & Clarke Quay. It has nothing special and is a police headquarter. But the facade multi-colored windows have turned it into a very colourful place.

It is a nice colorful building which always springs into the eye when visiting the Boat Quay area. It would be missed when it wasn't there anymore suddenly.

I walk past this building most days on the way back from the city but have never been inside (it's an office building, so not open to the public). It's pretty and colourful but not much more to it. Easy to reach location on the corner of Hill St and River Valley road.

The Hill Street Building is on the Hop on Bus route and is close to Clarke Quay so easy to get to. Even if you don't get off you can get a really good view from the bus as there are traffic lights close. We went round several times and our eyes were always drawn to the multiple floors of... More

The building is nice and colourful to look at as you walk by, however, that is as far as it goes as an attraction as far as I could see.

There's nothing much in this building other than an occasional art exhibition. Having said that, its unique colours are absolutely lovely and make this part of the city look much nicer.

Exactly on the side of Clarke Quay, a strange but a relative interesting building at first glance that's all, his specialties are those colored windows. This 6 floors building has colorful windows differently for each floor, very impressive but in my opinion not worth wasting the time to go look up for it with all and interesting stuff out there...
