About
The breath-taking connection between Faber Peak Singapore and Sentosa Island Established since 1974, Singapore Cable Car is the nation's first and only cableway that links Faber Peak on mainland Singapore to the island resort of Sentosa, before flying you to the Merlion or the sandy beach at Siloso. Today, the cable car rides are enjoyed across a Cable Car Sky Network of more than 100 cabins spanning almost 5 kilometres on the Mount Faber Line and the Sentosa Line. A 'joyride' across the Cable Car Sky Network offers a 360-degree aerial and visual treat of the entire Sentosa-HarbourFront skyline and the resort island. The scenery transforms as the cabins soar above the forest, through a skyscraper, over the harbour and travel across the jungle, sand and sea. Our passionate service ambassadors are on hand to create happy moments for all cable car joyriders. Singapore Cable Car Opening Hours: From 8.45am to 10pm (Last boarding: 9.30pm)

- MICHELLEEssex, United Kingdom140 contributionsTop of the WorldThe cable car was great superb views of Singapore. we got on at sentosa Island and went to the top to mount faber and walked all round the trails and the merlion on the top. lovely places to have a picnic. then bac down to go to the fort and the beach walk great day out so much to do.Visited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 13 October 2023
- Lynnlynn1Wisbech, United Kingdom259 contributionsAn escape from the city.We got a taxi to Mount Faber to get on the cable cars. There were no queues, so we didn't have to share a cable car. The views are fabulous. We took a round trip to sentosa Island. Its about 20 minutes each way. And no time limit within the day as to when you return. The beach is beautiful with clear blue sea.Visited November 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 10 November 2023
- Jennifer CCumbria, United Kingdom1,655 contributionsAmazing views. We got a taxi from our hotel to Mount Faber he suggested not to return but instead get off at Harbour side if we wanted to get a taxi back as they have a dedicated taxi rank so would be easier. This is exactly what we did so great advice from the driver. We arrived early and bought the tickets and boarded with no queue at all. The ride was amazing, we were thankful for the fan with the map on as was very hot. Once we got to sentosa we did the cable car ride getting off at merlion and had a paddle on the beach, beautiful but bizarre to see all the shipping containers so nearby!!! We loved the whole experience and would definitely recommend.Visited January 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 21 January 2024
- DavidjellisLowestoft, United Kingdom9,473 contributionsLovely scenic way to get to Sentosa Island but expensive for short journeysMy wife and I used the cable car to travel from our cruise ship at Harbourfront to Sentosa Island to visit Universal Studios. It was a scenic way to travel and offered wonderful views over our ship, Keppel Bay and Sentosa island. The charge was S$35 each for a return ticket, which would have been reasonable if you wanted to explore the whole cable car network from Mount Faber to Merlion Park, however to pay the same price for our short journey (one stop) from Harbourfront to Sentosa and back was rather steep. There are cheaper ways to do the journey (such as the MRT from VivoCity or even walking it via the boardwalk) although for the views it was a fun thing to do. If we return to Singapore we would take the cheaper options. Also note that the cable car pods are heavily decorated in transfers and stickers so visibility isn't as good as you would expect, but we enjoyed our short albeit expensive journey. It gave us some cool views over the top of our ship.Visited December 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 28 January 2024

- Darren LQueenstown, Maryland825 contributionsFun ExperienceA neat experience and seems to be very well run. Cars have some airflow, but no AC. Not too bad in morning, but may be a bit stickier in the afternoon. You can buy an unlimited ride pass, which can get you from Faber Peak to Sentosa Island. There you can switch to another part that runs along Sentosa Island. There is a stop conveniently located right near the Harborfront, where the cruise ships dock. When you clear security you go to left in mall and outside. Plenty of signs.Visited February 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 28 February 2024
- Brown_SamanthaKennewick, Washington1,730 contributionsExcellent way to see Sentosa Island and Mount Faber - wonderful viewWe got the pass that allowed us to go from the harbor front up to Mount Faber, explore around in that area, then back down to harbor front, onto Sentosa Island. It was a sunny gorgeous weather day, so the view is simply stunning. From there we took the cable car that went across the island, giving us the opportunity to visit the areas on the island itself. High recommend this cable car system.Visited February 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 17 March 2024
- wtandyLaunceston, Australia1,218 contributionsStable Cable - 50th AnniversaryPleasant cable car trip to Faber Peak - from Harbourfront - and to Sentosa Island return. Brilliant views from up high. Short walk to Mount Faber was well worth it. Nature trail on Sentosa not quite so much (loud sounds from nearby fairground attractions disturb it). Cable cars are very secure & stable (though they hold up to 8 people we were on our own for 2 of our 3 trips). We were done by 1 pm, by which time hoards of people were arriving (noticed this frequently throughout our stay in Singapore). If you can get moving in the morning you'll be rewarded.Visited March 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 24 March 2024
- Peter TTamworth, United Kingdom900 contributionsGreat views, worth a ride.....We bought tickets in advance of coming to Singapore, but when we arrived there was no ticket queue or ride queue so not sure if that was required. We used the cable car to go up to Mt Faber (got off and toured round) then down to Sentosa (no time to get off but could have done). Really great views including a photo over our cruise ship. Well worth a ride.Visited March 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 30 March 2024

My partnter & I and an American couple got on the Cable car from Mt Faber as advised by our hotel concierge. This way our ride would be longer and we would see more of the city.
The initial trip over to Sentosa Island went without a hitch.
We got on the cable car and rode back to Mt Faber early evening after spending the day exploring Sentosa Island..
Upon getting off the cable car we discovered, that there was no taxi stand at Mt Faber to take us back to our hotel.
None of us had a mobile phone.
None of the cable car staff would assist us by telephoning for a taxi for us (we politely asked several ticket staff and staff we found inside the building, plus the security people outside they all refused)
We spent approx 20 mins asking for assistance to no avail.
Eventually a young man at the restaurant rang a taxi for us.
We were really appreciative for his help
We were first time visitors to the Singapore and were appalled at the lack of help we received from the Cable Car & Security staff.

I have a terrible and unpleasant experience with the bad customer service provided by the One Faber Group staffs. I have utilised the rediscover Singapore vouchers with Klook for my cable car ride. Klook has sent me 5 QR codes for 5 tickets bought. Upon entry to board the cable car, the staff claimed that there was issues with 2 of my QR code tickets. She then advised me to go to the ticketing counter to redeem the 2 QR code tickets which have issues. I then proceed to the ticketing counter as per her advice. However, the staffs at ticketing counter gave me a different advice. They requested that I have to pay for the two tickets which have issues. After which, I have to write in to Klook to request for a refund for the 2 tickets paid. I then asked the ticketing staffs for a better alternative to resolve my ticketing issues. I explained to them that it is unfair for consumers to pay for the tickets out of their own pockets and has to chase the refund from Klook due to the glitch by Klook. I tried patiently to reason with them. The staff then tried to call Klook for half an hour but in avail. I had to wait for them to resolve the issue. I wanted to speak to the manager but could only get him 15mins later. In the end, he did not provide a satisfactory solution to my problem and keep emphasing that the problem lies with Klook and not with One Faber Group. This is certainly a very unpleasant and bad customer service provided by One Faber Group. I feel that I was being penalised for some glitches in the travel app. Especially in consumers' views, they did not provide an amicable solution to the issues which were not caused by consumers. I will certainly not recommend any family and friends to take cable car rides because of the customer service provided was utterly disappointing, unsatisfactory and unprofessional.

Dear yunempire,
Greetings from One Faber Group!
Thank you for sharing your view of the Singapore Cable Car.
We apologise for the inconvenience and unpleasant experience that you had encountered.
Do allow us to also clarify that bookings under the use of the Singapore Rediscover Vouchers are based on third party booking sites provided by the government and the QR code are issued by these agents and cannot be replaced directly by One Faber Group as One Faber Group will only be able to validate and issue the tickets based on the validity of these QR codes.
However, we thank you for your feedback once again and please be assured that the matter has been brought up to the relevant departments to look into the matter to improve on areas that we lack in.
Once again, thank you for your feedback and we look forward to welcoming you again.
Sincerely,
One Faber Group.

We visited Singapore as part of our cruise around Asia and from research beforehand, we’d decided to have a go on the cable car and take in the views from above.
Due to being on a cruise, we were eligible for a 15% discount on the tickets (on production of your cruise passenger card).
The views as you can imagine are great (especially on a sunny day!) and, due to going fairly early, it was fairly quiet and we had a cable car to ourselves each time we needed to change. We didn’t spend as much time here as we first planned, but it was a nice way to start the day and take in some different views of Singapore. When we left, the queue had started to get quite long so I was pleased we didn’t leave it too late.
I wouldn’t say that it’s great value for money, but it’s certainly different and a pleasant experience to see things from the sky. I would recommend.

We decided to try the cable car experience for a nice relaxing way to spend a couple of hours after a long flight. Our family really enjoyed this trip, we went in the evening so we could enjoy the sunset and then see the city lit up at night. I would recommend getting a Cable Car Sky Pass directly from the website as this takes you round all the terminals, and you can hop on and off and look around if you want. We did this and it meant the whole trip took a couple of hours, although you could do the whole trip in half an hour if you didn't get out at the stops. Great value in my view and highly recommended!

For as low as $3.00 (limited time offer) you can ride on the cable car, this is only for the SG residents and applicable on Sentosa Line. It was great fun bringing my little boy. He actually practices his color recognition with the help of the colorful cabins. You can maximize your ride by boarding from Imbiah Station then alight to Siloso Beach and wander around in Fort Siloso then go back again to the cable car to finish your one round trip. It’s good to have a break to avoid feeling dizzy. And if unsure, just approach the staff, they are friendly and happy to help.

We had to get a taxi to the top of Mount Faber to the cable car station, it was a little busy but in hardly any time we had purchased our tickets and ascended to the platform to hop aboard.
My partner is GREAT with heights so had a bit of a panic when aboard the car. It was very entertaining to watch and we laugh about it now but if you or anyone you’re travelling with has a fear of heights I would give these a miss.
The journey was smooth and we got spectacular views of the harbour and a completely different view to the city.
At the half way point some more people got onto our car but there was plenty of room and it didn’t feel intrusive.
In total it lasted about 10-15 minutes from the starting point of Mount Faber to our destination of Sentosa Island

Greetings from One Faber Group!
Thank you for sharing your review of the Singapore Cable Car!
We are happy to know that you and your partner had an enjoyable ride with us.
Kudos to your partner for overcoming their fear of height.
Indeed, the journey from Mount Faber to Sentosa will offer a unique view as the cable car cruise above the highway and over the Water Theme Park and into the lush greeneries of the island.
Once again, we thank you for your lovely review and we hope to see you again soon!
In the meantime, do take care and stay safe.

You get some lovely views, and it’s the most exciting way to go to Mt Faber. We also love hearing the sounds of the forest as we fly over it.
There are 2 separate cable car lines. The longer goes from Sentosa to Mt Faber, the other goes along Sentosa. Both give brilliant views. We bought passes, and also enjoyed the views after dark.
I dislike the grey tint to the windows, which does downgrade the view, especially at dusk. There can be queues at some stations, we saw queues at Mt Faber and Harbourfront, but nowhere else. Visitors may buy tickets before they are aware of the queues.
Cable cars are always expensive, and the ride, especially just a single round trip, is very dear. Other options are better value, check out the web site.
We found the staff very helpful to the disabled. Cars were slowed, and I found boarding easy, but they do not stop the cars normally. If you’re in a wheelchair, talk to staff before buying tickets.
It’s a lovely way to see more of Singapore, we feel it enhanced our time on Sentosa.

We purchased tickets for the cable car ride and SEA Aquarium and were very excited to see Sentosa Island. We stood in line for the cable cars and were crammed in a car with a big group of people who stood up the whole time to take pictures. I got stepped on a few times and we decided to take a taxi instead of the round trip that we purchased. We did not have a pleasant experience.

Turned up with a pre-paid Expedia ticket and they refused to honor it. They said I needed a voucher with a bar code. I appealed to them that the ticket simply states to present the ticket at the entry point to redeem for entry. They refused to budge and said this has happened many times before. I asked them what they had done about it then and the reply was "Its a separate company and its not our problem". Bottom line is I reluctantly had to pay for another ticket and told them they need to understand they are in a customer service industry and Expedia is the biggest travel booking site in the world. Clueless operators and extremely unhelpful. Have since contacted Expedia who say they will address with the operator and will provide a voucher refund.

Dear Tom P,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced when redeeming your Expedia voucher.
We have various types of tickets sold across multiple platforms, which requires different methods for the redemption process. Bar codes/QR codes are needed for scanning before boarding the cable car.
Hence, staff would advise guests to contact the merchant directly for assistance in retrieving the codes.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused on your last visit.

Hi...if i purchase a round trip Sentosa cable car ticket, can i alight at each station and spend sometime there then board again to continue to the next station till i complete all 3 stops then ride back to where i first board?
Or is it just point to point like i can only ride from merlion to siloso, alight, then ride back to merlion again?
