No matter what your religion is, or even none at all, I recommend a visit to the church if you are walking past - either for a few minutes of peace and quiet, or to learn about the history of Armenians in Singapore. (And it was the Sarkis brothers, Armenians, who set up the Raffles Hotel!) Loved the quirky, modern... More

What a joy to see it, to be inside, to walk at the garden and talk to local Armenians about its history!

This is the second time I have just dropped into this church as a tourist on my way somewhere else and I recommend to do the same if you are passing by. It is so peaceful. I love the statutes around the church which just add to the atmosphere. It is free so just pop in for a moments reflection... More

Nestled among the modern buildings, this small white spired church is worth a look if you're nearby, as it not only stands as a testimony to the Armenians who built it and worshiped here, but also to their faithful devotion.

Built in 1835 this is the oldest church in Singapore. It is a delightful quiet church with quaint architecture - being an essentially round building. Many of the inscriptions are in Armenian. There is a photograph of Lee Kwan Yu visiting the church on display in the back. There are some old Armenian graves in the church yard, and also... More

I was disappointed that the Armenian Church and grounds were closed because of renovation. I am unsure as to how long the renovation occur. Hopefully you will have better luck than I.
