See the colourful coral right in front of your eyes or swim in one of St John’s Island’s many lagoons. You might also like to enjoy a pleasant picnic on the beach or go dolphin spotting by the water.

It was nice trip to St. John’s island on Sunday. From Marina South Pier(there is MRT station, red line), took island cruise ferry, took around 30mins to get there. We still can see city view of Singapore from the island, but here is totally different...More

First stop of ferry ride. Big island. Couple of stretch of beach and mangroves. One small hill and a small marine park. Simple walk would do and I would recommend Kusu Island for family activity than St John’s.

I loved this place because it is so quiet for a stroll away from the city. Totally commercialised. No shop. No cafe or restaurant. It's vital to take your own food and drink. Won't be for everyone biting you fancy a picnic and some peace...More

Not a bad place to hang out and explore the new walking trail (monthly guided tours available, contact NParks), though the island's small size and fairly steep ferry fare to get there can be little hindrances. Expect mangroves, rocky beaches, some corals, and small animals....More

It's a great place for a picnic and for some peace and serenity. Plenty of cats around. The only toilet and shower available is a 5 minute walk from the jetty and up a small hill. Get your food and drinks from the mainland as...More

Take the North-South line down to Marina South Pier station and get out from Exit B where you'll find yourself at the cruise centre. Tickets are sold for cash. Do pack enough food and water as there are no amenities on the islands. On a...More

I went to St John's and Lazarus island (15 min stroll, connected by a photograph-worthy bridge) on a Saturday for a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of Singapore's city life. I spent half a day there enjoying the pristine beaches and soaking up...More

Firstly make sure you pack some food and some water. There are no places at all to purchase anything on the Islands. Secondly, make sure you have cash because the tickets vendors don't accept card payment nor do the couple of little shops at the...More

My girlfriend and I visited this island to see and feed the stray cats. It is a lovely natural place now made for naturists. Unfortunately it was raining all day during our visit but on arrival we saw two dolphins about 50 metres off shore...More

I wasn't able to walk around St. John's Island because I headed straight to Lazarus Beach, which is about 15-20 minutes from St. John's dock. Loved my stay at the Lazarus Beach. It was quiet, clean and a pretty decent white beach in Singapore. Definitely...More

Yes., you can do both with same ticket like hop on and off. You have to buy and bring all eatables before you board at Marina Pier. You won’t get any shops otherwise.
