Woodlands is a residential town located in the northern region of Singapore. It is connected to Johore Bahru by the causeway. Shops, restaurants and commercial area are evenly spread out in the town with bus and transit routes operating till close to midnight.

I just wanted to share if you're travelling to Singapore via Malaysia by road, I suggest that rather than take a cab, its better to take Train from JB Sentral, Johor to Woodland, Singapore. Its so different experience.
