Really the place to be if you want to buy new or used golf clubs. Just remember to negotiate with the shop for better bargains as the list prices are often not fixed price. I tend to go to Panwest and Transview as the clubs are better.

If you want a taste of how shopping malls in Singapore were like in the 1980s, pop into this mall right in the heart of Orchard Rd. Amidst the glamor and bling of modern shopping malls along this street, this mall is lost in time. Now it's filled with education centers, golfing shops, the odd bar, old-fashioned Russo-hainanese restaurant, touristy... More

worth popping in if time permits but nothing of special interest. what was on offer was neither cheap and cheerful nor expensive and exquisite. just normal average run of the mill stuff not specifically interesting or worth purchasing.

Many shops selling trendy and fashionable clothing. The shops cater to a mostly young crowd. Nail parlours, electronic shops, luxury watch and pre-owned branded bags shops, eateries - halal and non-halal and hair salons are here as well. While window shopping at the basement, I saw a nice handphone cover for my Note 4 and bought 1 , less than... More

Some electronics shops and tailors or main floor, level two offers lots of sports and golfing shops and a scottish bar (The Sportman), no need go any higher unless you looking for maid agencies, tutors or the russian restaurant Shashlik all the way up.

This shopping centre is fairly run down (if you are looking to buy golf equipment it should be your first port of call though) but the foot massage place on the first floor is definitely worth a visit. Options are for 30,40 or 60 min foot massages (it is actually cheaper per minute to have a shorter massage but all... More

Despite the very good location, this is still an old 1970's style shopping centre, which does not cater for the international jetset. Nothing flash about the centre at all. It does, however, cater for locals, and for tourists who are seeking golf gear, money changers, travel agents, and custom tailors. I have visited some of the tailors in there and... More

This shopping plaza was a great find, lots of small shops, no big names in the ladies clothing, but unfortunately for me, and many other western women, no sizes bigger than a size 40! On the other hand, we saw an advertisement for a Thai restaurant, OFIRA AMAZING THAI RESTAURANT, my husband's favourite food, not mine. We found the place... More

Staying in Orchard Road

Neighbourhood Profile
Orchard Road
Shopping is a national pastime for Singaporeans, and after a visit to Orchard Road it’s easy to see why. This seemingly endless boulevard boasts a dizzying selection of shopping centres. From bargain basement foragers to designer label big-spenders, there is something for everyone. For those just browsing, there are countless restaurants, food courts, and cinemas, as well as the odd street entertainer to keep you amused. Most of the malls are connected by underground walkways, offering a break from the sun on a hot day. Bring a credit card and some comfortable shoes, and plunge into the excitement.
