We had booked 3 tours with Tour East the half day city tour which was ok we had quick highlights of the city which was good. The second was breakfast with the Orangutans at Singapore Zoo this was very rushed due to inconsiderate people being late for their minibus pick up they should have been left behind to make their... We spent a lot of time transferring between buses and travelling around seceral hotels. Then had a real tight time frame at the zoo. We literally ran around the zoo to see everthing.

I was in Singapore for two full days, and on each day I took a tour: the Morning City Tour and the Peranakan Trail Tour. Both were excellent, and I felt as though I got a good overview of Singapore and some of the culture there. When you don't have a lot of time, these tours offer a good way... More

We just did the Footsteps of Raffles tour and it was fun. On time pickup from hotel (13.30) and transfer to another coach in Chinatown (14.00) for a short trip to Raffles hotel via his statue near Parliament building. A quick talk on colonial past and into the hotel (15.00) for afternoon tea - not just the usual sandwiches and... More

Organization: The tour organizers really need to "tighten" up their schedule so that the guests don't feel like they're wasting precious trip time We were first taken from our hotel to an ugly parking lot with no amenities (chairs, water, restrooms, etc.) where we had to wait another 45 minutes for other guests to show up in order to fill... We booked through a Travel Agent private transfers from Airport to Swissotel Merchant Court, Merchant Court to Cruise Centre, Cruise Centre to Marina Bay Sands and Marina Bay Sands to Airport. Each and every transfer was seamless. The staff of Tour East were very friendly and helpful. They were always on time, even when we came back from our cruise,... More

We booked our airport transfers, the City Tour and Singapore Night Tour with Singapore Sling at Raffles through Tour East and we found them to be extremely informative and reliable. It was our first time in Asia and it felt like a long way from home and therefore we were somewhat apprehensive, however, we were greeted at the airport by... More

We had confirmation of our tour email to introduce our guide Kesh met us in the lobby and guided us to our car for the evening. The tour was not cheap however we did not realise it was a private tour just for us. Each place we were taken there were seats and table reserved for us even in the... More

I booked and paid online for the Singapore City Tour by Tour east Singapore via Viator. We arrived at our hotel at midnight and the tour was booked for the next afternoon. We were only in Singapore for one day. When wondering when the bus would come to pick us up, we were told the tour was fully booked!!! and... More

I booked the Singapore Turf Club evening, but then found out that despite the add saying local pick up, the pick up was a cab ride away. I cancelled and re booked with Viator, who have been fabulous. Problem is, that Expedia and Tour East Singapore have still not refunded my money, despite confirmation of cancellation 4 days ago. They... More

Staying in Marina Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina Bay
More of a mini city than a neighbourhood in the traditional sense, the iconic Marina Bay aims to dazzle and entertain visitors of all kinds. This is the Singapore found in glossy brochures, featuring a world-class hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions all geared towards pure entertainment. The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands provides a stunning view of the city, a must-see photo opportunity for visitors and locals alike. The ArtScience Museum always has a top-quality exhibition, and Gardens by the Bay is a fascinating manifestation of the government’s vision of Singapore as a “city in a garden”. Enticing Marina Bay is well worth a visit.
