It is absolutely worth visiting the Marina Barrage to discover that beautiful remote spot. An ideal location to relax from the hustle of the CBD and to enjoy the sun. Offers a great panoramic view of Singapore, too.

Took the kids here today for another visit (it being more than a year since we were last year). Surprisingly popular today with plenty of people on the roof, maybe because it was slightly overcast with a breeze suitable for kite flying. We played with...More

With big open grass space, you'll be happy to know that you can run with your kites freely. No trees to snag your lines. However, in recent times, the place has garnered a lot of inconsiderate visitors so do take note.

Visitors here like to spend the time in the open space having picnic or flying kites. Sometimes activities are also organised here

Picturesque views like a postcard. The beauty is awe inspiring. This is a huge freshwater storehouse supplying Singapore's water needs.

Marina Bay
More of a mini city than a neighbourhood in the
traditional sense, the iconic Marina Bay aims to
dazzle and entertain visitors of all kinds. This is
the Singapore found in glossy brochures, featuring a
world-class hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, bars,
and other attractions all geared towards pure
entertainment. The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands
provides a stunning view of the city, a must-see photo

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
Sorry if this is an obvious question... Can you walk from one side of the water to the other, i.e. from Marina Bay Sands area to East Coast Parkway area, across what appears to be a bridge on Google Maps. And if so, can you do that 24 hours? I'm planning a running route.

Yes you can, in fact there's a cycling/running route from East Coast Park to Marina Bay Sands. You could rent bicycles from one of the many bicycle rental shops at East Coast Park should you choose to cycle. Have fun!
