I was asked to fetch water to make milk. The baby rooms were locked but can request access via intercom. The person manning it refused entry citing display of baby as proof of entry- a hot water flask was not enough!!!! And all we needed was hot water!

This mall has been around a long time and “renovated” some 5-10 years back. There’s still foot traffic due to anchor tenants like supermarket , starhub and cineplex. Lots of restaurants and cafes. The shops are blah and non-luxury

Plaza Singapura has a wide variety of shops catering to the middle class. They do not have the signature branded shops as compared to the other malls along Orchard Road.
It is also connected to the Dhoby Ghuat MRT station, which is a major interchange, thus resulting in many customers.

This place is accessible, in almost every sense of the word.
It's just off Dhoby Ghaut station, which is also a major MRT interchange for this part of town.
Food and shopping options are also pretty accessible, the total opposite of ION and Ngee Ann.

A nice little local mall to spend 1-2 hours. The mall is clean and very easy to walk around. The supermarket (CS Fresh) at Basement level 2 offers good varieties of products. Their nuts section is a must try area; all their nuts are very fresh and good quality. I personally prefer this type of local mall to the brand-focus ones in Orchard Road.

My first time to patronise this HDL great services from the crew members.While waiting for table in the Q free flow of winter melon tea,popcorn ,snacks,games and arts were hand out to keep us occupied.With many different kind of soup base to cater each individual preference.The only thing I find in the menu they dun have pacific clam and cuttlefish which is my favourite especially for steamboat.Be back again.

Impressively large with down to earth stores that you actually want to visit.
So much shopping and eating, you’d want to spend a day here. I did.
Almost every you’ll need can be gotten here. And easily accessible by subway.

I visited Plaza Singapura twice, it is a classic mall, Opened: 1974. Surely it became more Contemporary with time. It caters for all needs. It has 9 levels of shops & eateries. It is nice & spacious. I enjoyed it and I will come back on my next visit.

This multilevel shopping mall has easy access from the Doby Ghaut MRT and has Cold storage for your grocery needs, delicious bread and cake shops, many restaurants, coffee shops, fast food outlets and a local kopitam. Also many clothes and wide range of retail shops, mobile phones and a cinema complex.
Daiso, Spotlight and M&S are my regular go to places.
Also there are often exhibitions and special sales in the central atriam

Operational over 40 years with few revamps, renovations & facelift, this mall is located on the famous Orchard road & is near to Istana in the centrally located commercial hub of Singapore. It is a huge place with equally big multi-floor car park.
One can reach this mall easily by public transport both by train as well as over 20 bus routes. It is just above Dhoby Ghaut station which is an interchange station of original North-South line, later added North-East line & most recent Circle line.
Food outlets are located at almost every level. There are several anchor tenants & famous brand stores. The top floor has Golden Village cinema & toy store, movie replica as well as Time Zone & a corner with rental massage chairs if you feel tired of walking around. A floor below has excellent musical instrument outlet by Yamaha. 5th floor is mainly dedicated to Daiso department store & several home furnishing outlets. My visit was mainly to buy few photography accessories from level 4 based T K Photo Technic which was not found in the recent Comex IT show.
If you visit, do take a look at the glassy & colorful polyurethane sculpture of an Italian artist titled ‘Jelly Baby Family’ at the entrance.

I don’t think so. But there are money changers around. You can also pay by Credit Card at most shops.
