Very beautiful place. Lots of people come for jog, stroll and walk. Cute and lovely kids are around which gives us a very joyful feeling. I went with my friends started to climb from Alexandra Arch pedestrian bridge and then Mount Faber and then we went to see lavish Yatchs at Keppel bay are. Half of the park we traveled on metal bridge walkway, where the information of different trees and birds can be found. Kids and people who love this kind of information end up adding something to their knowledge. I would like to suggest people who are planning to go should complete all these small attractions also. If anyone interested they can enjoy the cable cars at Mt. Fabler to Harbourfront. After all this we went for lunch in one of the restaurant's of the harbourfront mall. After this mesmerizing and I would prefer going to more parks in Singapore

Couples can celebrate their togetherness and if you go in groups nothing is better than that. Not sure if it is a picnic spot however always carry your water bottles and some light eatables, specially if you have small kids.

After alighting the bus at the bus stop (bef Telok Blangah hill pk , 51, 57, 61, 93, 97, 100, 120, 166, 175, 765, 963), I walked up the elevated metal walkway called the Forest Walk. It is about 1.2 km long. On the ground, there is an Earth Trail running quite parallel to it. One can access the elevated walkway from the Earth trail by climbing the staircase at various points. There are information boards describing the flora and fuana seen in this area.
At the end of the Forest Walk is the Telok Blangah Hill Park. There are many trails in Telok Blangah good for walking or jogging. One trail leads to Depot road. Another leads to Picnic Hill Top. There are two ways to access this Picnic hill top, one involving many steps (about 5 mins walk) and the other way is a more gradual walk. One can have breakfast, brunch etc at the Wildseed cafe situated in Alkaff Mansion here.
From this park, one can cross the bridge known as Henderson Wave to Mount Faber Park.

There are many walking paths in this long park. One of them is up in the trees on a metal walkway (can be slippery when wet). The terrace garden on a hill is rundown, but there are good views from the hilltop. The east end of the park is one end of the Henderson Waves bridge across a busy road; part of the waves were being worked on, so covered with tarps. It was free to walk thru. There are toilets and drinking fountains.

one of the 4 hilly parks around the area...where the alkaff mansion is closest to...now in ruins...

morning can see people doing their morning exercise. up a steep slope near the zigzag metal bridge and u have a superb view...onto the zigzag bridge it will go to hort park and Kent ridge park...

up another steep slope near the open air park u will come to Henderson waves and another superb view...walk a bit farther and u will reach the "famous" mount Faber and the slopes..

that's why I considered this park the intersection lol

Another beautiful area within the southern ridges. Connecting via Henderson Waves to Mount Faber.. loved seeing the squirrels in the early hours of morning before crowds arrived

This is one of the parks forming the Southern Ridges walking trail which runs all the way to Mount Faber. It's well maintained and easy to walk along with clear sign-posting. Of course best appreciated in the mornings or late afternoons!

The park can be accessed from Mt Faber via Henderson Waves and includes the historic Alkaff Mansion, now a restaurant. There is access from the south via Telok Blangah drive through a small park at road level called Telok Blangah Green. This has a small stream and pool full of turtles, a small walking trail and park benches. On the climb up to Telok Blangah Hill park there are a number of exercise stations and a small area with stone tables and benches where you can sit and relax and listen to the insects and birds. There are numerous small lizards to be seen if you go when there are few people (not early morning when it tends to get crowded). Very interesting to visit if you are interested in nature.

Visit the historic Alkaff Mansion and climb to the summit to view the southern coastline, including Sentosa island. This park is a popular jogging route to admire the scenery along the southern ridges of Singapore.

Where to start - Take a bus from Harbor front bus interchange to Sp jain insttiute of Management

Right in front of the Sp jain institute if Management there is HOrt Park and your jouney starts from there. it covers Hortpark and Telok blangah hill park and Mount faber.

The journey moves along the raised patform which is built across the tree top and offers a very calm and exciting experience.

You will visit many historical British Bungalows, water tank and gardens on the way and it offers many view points and photo points all the way. You will also cover henderson waves bridge in the journey,

Please allow yourself a plenty of time to rest in middle and carry more drinking water if you are planning to go on a sunny day and wear loose cotton clothes for comfort.

People who are sensitive may apply some mosquito repellent.
