So beautiful! We we're in doubt to go, bit afraid that it would be too touristic. But it was worth it! Very clean, not crowded, nature at its best.

My friend went swimming in the water for five minutes and saw what appeared to be a box jelly fish. She was stung by it and felt very sick after. She still has a bad rash from it. We looked it up and it appears to be common. We didn’t see any signs warning people. We saw children in the water who should probably be warned.

Clean beach, lots of bars
Nice place to watch the sun set
Good stop off if you’ve been to universal and want to go for tea / drinks afterwards

Ok. South East Asian dream beach this ain’t. It’s Singapore’s man made answer and it’s not bad at all. Nice sand. Crisp clean water. Amazing to be able to cool off from a hot and humid Singapore. Plenty of space. But git a little crowded. Atmosphere somewhat spoiled by family singing karaoke via speaker system (singing is too strong a word, more like out of tune warbling) for hours on end. Non stop. The stamina! There’s Wi-Fi on the path meandering alongside the beach (not on the beach). Food options limited. Healthy food options non existent. Getting to beach was easy enough on public transport. Leaving when it closes at 5/6 necessitates a long long queue for the free shuttle bus (probably about 20 mins delay).

Great view but it's quite tiring if you will just walk from Siloso, you should ride the service going here. The hanging bridge is a perfect place to take photos and don't miss to check out the top deck view once you crossed the bridge.

Absolutely would not recommend. If you go keep in mind it is not white sand and turquoise water like in the photos, and there will be a scatter of big cargo ships about 700m away. As worrying tourists we didn’t know if the water was safe, most of the other reviews have said the water was clean which persuaded us to go. Upon arriving, it looked ok from afar but as we got closer, the water smelt of petrol (probably from the huge ships) and was littered with rubbish. We immediately had to exit the water (despite about 100 people still happily swimming) when multiple human feces floated past us. Another family also noticed and got out but many people seemed to continue swimming around the feces.

Hard to say much about this because the day we visited the bridge across to the southern most point of Asia was closed for maintenance. More of a tick off the bucket list kind of place.

its a relaxing place to just lay on the beach and get a little swim but its not fun to look at all the ships that are around Singapore. I would recommend this to people that are in Singapore and wants to go to a beach but there is better places around Asia.

I wanted to visit here because it is the southern most point of continental Asia, i’m happy I came. The beach has a very unreal feeling and apparently it is because it is fake for most parts meaning it is man made, still highly recommend.

The beach is situated on the Sentosa Island. It has all amenities, such as changing rooms, showers and washrooms. The ambience is calm.

How do you get to the beach from the port pleaAe

You can walk if you want they have a boardwalk that connects from mainland.
Only takes 5 - 10 minutes to cross, then you may have another 20 minutes to walk to beach.
They do have some bus services to get you to beach once you cross onto Sentosa island but I did walk as I enjoy walking they have signs directing you to the beach. I don’t know the frequency of the shuttle services?
Or you can take a taxi and they can drive you directly to the beach there is a toll added to your cab fare for crossing the bridge ($6)
I would take a taxi from docks may only cost $10-15 dollars.

Yes I'd recommend a swim suit. It's not the cleanest beach, but there were some people swimming there.

Is there anywhere that you can hire beach towels? I’d rather not have to cart one all the way from Australia!

No that I am aware of. But Singapore is a safe place so one does not need to worry about this issue. However, it would be better if one leaves valuables in the hotel.
is there any entrance fee before swimming in palawan beach?
