Very nice beach. Soft white sand. Clean clear blue waters. 350peso ($7usd) beach side massage is nice (daily during my 4 days). 45peso ($1usd) beers can be found, too..

Gorgeous beach. We were there in the windy season which sadly means that the bars and restaurants on the beach need to put up big plastic windbreakers which spoil the view a little, but of course make sitting outside more comfortable. There was a lot...More

The beach itself was pretty spectacular, the water was clean and there weren't too many people crowding around. However, the beach salesmen asking if I wanted sunnies and hats (which I was already wearing) every few minutes, got pretty tiring!

The beaches were beautiful! There were a lot of restaurants that catered to different cuisines. Lots of vendors. They were not very pushy. If you decide to take an excursion, be sure to tip the guides personally. Keep payment and tip separate.

I have been to white beach every year for the past three years. Every year, there is noticeably more algae. This is caused by nitrogen from incomplete treatment of sewage water. This past April 2017, the algae prevented use of the beach during certain times....More

I totally agree. And they keep building. I suspected the algae was the result of poor sanitation systems. The other part of the island near the port did not have this issue. And unless you have $800/night to spend at the... More
