It was a nice, pleasant morning walk, and good exercise because I even went farther than where the steps were leading to the view deck. I asked around and the people were nice enough to tell me where it was, one even offered to accompany me. The 140 step climb up was easy and the view up there was nice..

We took a tricycle to the top and then climbed about 100 steps to the lookout. The views are very nice but it's not the best spot to see the sunset because the sunset is in the north west direction of the island (shangrila area) and the Luho mount is on the east side. Also, the structure is old and not well maintained so be careful. If you go by tricycle ask the driver to wait because getting one for the way back may be difficult. Insect repellent advised. 150 peso pp

If you want to see the scenic view at Mt. Luho go rent an ATV. We did the land tour (2hrs) through ATV ride. They provided us with a friendly local guide. First stop is the Puka beach then the mini zoo (we did not really enjoyed the mini zoo cause birds looked sad in their cages). Last stop was in Mt. Luho which is the highest point in Boracay. There you can have a mango shake while enjoying the nice view of this island. There are also other activities to choose from : Zorb, zip line, go kart etc. Be sure to compare prices of these activities because most of them overcharges tourists,.

We got dropped here only to be told that the it has been closed since 2018.
The drivers drop you there to get money and then leave whilst the workers at the mountain inform you that you can’t go up.

If you care anything about wild animals you should avoid this place. They have several large birds of prey (hawks/eagles) in small cages. They also have one or two sad looking monkeys in small cages! AVOID!!!!!!!

Views were good but we didn't quite know what to expect when we were ushered through the 'ticket desk'. Was only 120 peso per person which isn't a huge amount but as soon as we reached the staircase we saw loads of different animals in really cramped cages which tainted the views. Seeing the animals seemed to be part of the package along with the viewing tower. We do a lot of research into animal tourism when travelling and are very against funding it in any way so this was really disappointing.

I visited Mount Luho when I was in Boracay in late July 2016. We paid 120 MYR each to enter and see the view (which was underwhelming). I wished I never had gone there. There were an array of beautiful animals caged in the most horrific conditions - monkeys, eagles, jungle cats, pigs, chickens, crows, peacocks, fruit bats, snakes and many others. The monkeys and crows clawed at our drinks bottles as we passed. I gave some water to one of the monkeys and it appeared he hadn't had access to water in a while. One of the eagles in a tiny cage was crying repeatedly, it made my heart sink each time I heard it's sad call.
It was very distressing to see - it did not appear that they were feed regularly and had no water. I expressed to one of the workers that this sort of treatment of animals does not attract tourists, rather, acts as a deterrent. So please, do not go there and support this by paying the 120 ringgit. The view of the island isn't as good as I expected also.

We hired a tricycle for 3 hours at 300 pesos to do an island tour. One place we visited was Mt Luho. This is the highest part of Boracay with stunning views of the island and surrounds.Bring a camera as you will take some stunning photos. There is a small entrance fee required. The trek up the stairs is not that bad.Just low to moderate fitness required.

No one to blame for the rain but the whole idea for my teenage kids was actually to get a thrilling buggy ride as it was announced. We paid 3000p for 2 beach buggy and drove with snail speed behind our guide for mostly 8 min. Then it started to rain and we decided to skip the view point at the mountain as we could take a 100p tricycle there another day and pay the moderate entrance fee, which of course was not included in the package. We suggested our guide to continue our buggy ride as we expected something fast and furious - but no, this was the end station and we could just return back to base in same snail speed. Scam scam scam and totally rip off - avoid these tour u less you make sure what your get for what you pay....

Good place to witness the 360-degree birds eye view of the Island if you cant afford to ride other expensive choices like Helicopter.

It wasn’t when I was there in March to April.

Is there a path to walk up the mountain instead of taking a tricyle/ATV? My friends are into hiking and nature trails so they don't mind the long hike up. But my main concern is that we don't get run over by tricyles/ATVS on the side of the road.

It's quite literally a road you take to get up there. It would be much cheaper to have a trike take you right to the entrance and then take you back then doing the buggy/atv experience they sell to you on the beach. It took approx 15 mins to drive up the road on an ATV.

if you staying at the island , it should be no more than 100 peso .
if you not in the island , dont bother going .

Hi, my friend and I are planning to travel up to mount Luho tomorrow, we got a cheap deal to ride up with ATVs and zipline down. However I'm a bit skeptical now as this deal was offered to us by a tricycle rider (we're both female), who didn't have a contact number and I wasn't able to see his license like the other tourists guys. He is planning to pick us up and take us to the ATVs. Is this safe? Or should we be worried he might take us somewhere else
