Sabang Beach is a picturesque beach area. An approx 2 hour bus ride with JAM Transit from Pasay or Cabao in Manila and an approx 1 hour boat ride from Batangas Port. Ignore all offers of assistance at the port unless you are prepared to be ripped off. Sabang area is popular with divers. You will see numerous groups heading... More

The water is calm and clear, the aquatic life are rich. We are lucky to see giant frog fish. Besides there are coral of different colors, giant sea shells. I saw stingray, lion fish and sea slugs。

I had no idea this place was crawling with seedy sex tourism bars clubs and street workers but I went for the diving. Needless to say that was so amazing that i didnt care about the rest. As a solo girl travelling I just chose not to wander too much at nighttime.

Not good beach front for swimming. This is only a good diving spot. Need to ride a trike or boat to go to the white beach so better to go there directly instead of having hotel here.

Small town worth walking around. Lots of small shops and restaurants. Not sure that I'd eat in most without a typhoid shot but charming nonetheless.
