Great for a leg stretcher

Particularly enjoyed walk here though not for the feint hearted. You need to be pretty fit with good footwear. Take plenty of water with you

Particularly enjoyed walk here though not for the feint hearted. You need to be pretty fit with good footwear. Take plenty of water with you

Didn't actually go to the mountain to hike. Just saw it from our hotel room terrace. From our view, this mountain looks really beautiful. Very serene. At night, you will see just a couple of lights from the mountains, maybe one or two (from the houses?)

Together with a friend I decided to climb Mt. Halcon. First you have to go to Baco municipality to get a permit. Then you are transported to a Mangyan village named Bayanan. Their you can get a guide and porters. Please be aware that they expect the mountaineers to bring their own equipment, and food for the porters and guide... More
