Danau Kerinci

Kerinci known as thousand lake region in Jambi. I raise three years in this region. It's nice to recall the memory with sunset.

Beautiful tea plantations, friendly people. Long way from padang, not touristic. Would recommend visiting danau kaco lake in the area, its a 3 hour trekking to get there.

We stayed with Pak Subandy and his family for a few days in Kersik Tuo just opposite the tiger statue. We had no intention of climbing the mountain but wished to see the national park and Subandy lived up to his high reputation by showing us this.
